  1. It could be. That's what I thought at first when I seemed to be having a bad response to dairy, but then I remembered the cow milk allergy.
  2. I just started on a gluten-free casein-free diet a few days ago, so it's too early to say anything. I was just wondering how likely it is that I'm not intolerant to casein. (I love dairy products ...)
  3. Well, I appreciate your reply, so thank you.
  4. I found out from my mom that I was unable to tolerate cow's milk as an infant, so she gave me goat's milk for the first few years. She thought (on doctors' input) that it was just an infancy problem and would go away as I got older. After doing some research, it seems that being able to tolerate goat milk but not cow milk is a casein issue because there...
  5. NLD is considered by many to be on the autistic spectrum, and many people on the spectrum seem to have trouble with gluten and casein. So there is probably some connection. What about people who test negative for celiac but still discover that they have a bad reaction to gluten? (This is the case with my sister.) It's so frustrating ... the medical establishment causes as...
  9. Yeah, I was worried he might ask to see a doctor's note or something. I guess that's kind of far-fetched. Especially since my pastor had no problem dispensing me from the Ash Wednesday/Good Friday fast when I told him I was hypoglycemic. I don't want to say anything about it though until I'm sure that that is what is going on, so in the meantime what...
  10. Hello all, I'm new but have been lurking. Quick back-story: I have been trying to figure out what's wrong with me for nearly a decade, since my teens. I have daily digestive issues, bloating, etc, with periodic bouts of unexplained stomach cramps and vomiting. (On one occasion these landed me in the ER - they kept me there for hours, ran tests and told...
