  1. Thanks for your replies. I held off getting offically diagnosed by a doctor because of inscurance issues, ect... I'm sure however, I can get a note from the doctor... it might just be time to talk to the store manager. Thanks again!
  2. I now work in a bakery. Wait, wait, there is explaining to do. I had taken a leave of absence from my part time job to do research on a fellowship at a university. I used to work in the produce department and never got sick while on the job. I had just been "diagnosed" before I left, so I came back and the only job they had was for me in the coffee bar...
  3. Yeah! Allright, I'm still of mixed emotions, but I know that good things will come to those who are positive and can adhere to the diet they need, because then you won't get sick! Thanks for sharing, and yes, we all need our days to vent.
  4. I'd have to put myself around a 3. I'm dealing with a really horrible ear infection right now, so that's not helping things, but I'm up around a 3 after being wf/gluten-free for about a month and a half. Hang in there!

  8. Two pages of posts and nobody has suggested doing a brekfast smoothie???? Allright already, I make a super awesome loaded smoothie like this just about every morning: 1/4 frozen banana (I gently mash it so it's easier on the blender) 1 cup juice (I use white grape juice, it's just so sweet) about 3/4 cup frozen raspberries (you can use whatever...
  9. I had two eggs with my regular breakfast this morning and spent five hours sleeping. I woke up to feel awful, and to being incredibly dizzy, my tupical allergic reaction....
  10. May we get an update on this list? I'm going to be going to yet another doctor and maybe this might come in handy....
  11. If you don't mind pineapple, I'd reccomend Pioneer brand viatmins that I found at Whole Foods. They are chewable and combine a good set of all the vitamins we should be getting. These vitamins also list what they are free of, and my the list is quite long! It's free of such things as soy, wheat, gluten, corn, nuts, ect. ect... I have been using them for...
  12. If you are worried about protein, I found a great VEG based protein powder, it works wonders. When I went gluten-free, I noted that I was not getting enough and did my homework, the one I use is a vegterian powder that's soy free (I find I have reactions to soy), and gets the protein from ptoatoes, rice and peas. It's good if you can get your hands on frozen...
