I'm not sure if this is the right board for this, so move as needed. Ever since I had acute abdominal pain back in December 2011, the only two bread-like foods I could eat that would not cause pain are white rice and mini-wheats (the frosted ones Kelloggs makes). Any other bread or pastas would send me to the ER 1-2 hours after eating them. Does... -
I have 5 GI Drs working on my case, seriously FIVE! and it's going to be six next week. I think your experience is a bit less common in my experience (my opinion), some of my GI drs do not like each other (they literally act like the shallow drs you see on TV medical dramas). But others are okay to give 2nd, 3rd, 4th opinions... some come up with new...

I've exhausted every test my doctors can think of for Celiac's, so far I've had the following done: Celiac complete panel (blood, genetic and antibody), NEGATIVE. Endoscopy and biopsy, both NEGATIVE (saw the video myself). Pillcam, NEGATIVE for just about everything. Celiac stool antibody test, NEGATIVE. I still have insane thrashing pain... -
Hi I just wanted to post an update. I have had pillcam done, Crohn's Disease was ruled out prior, everything came back NEGATIVE (no cracked mudd appearance, no ulcers, nothing) but the symptoms are still there (severe pain 1-2 hours after eating any bread). I had biopsies done and also stool test for Celiac's, all NEGATIVE for literally everything....
