  1. Thanks, I will try that, but where do I get raw gluten or yeast? I also have more "data" (list of foods I tried and reactions), I posted it here: Elimination Diet So Far, Is It Gluten Or Wheat? Does it look like it's gluten? Some of it is contradictory, all the lab reports seem to show I am NOT being injured/damaged or "dying"?
  2. Ate some rice breads/cakes, feeling okay, no reaction...

  3. It would not be severe damage for sure, but the biopsies (samples) that your doctor took would have to be tested and then you will have more precise information. Even if the samples come back normal/negative, you may still have a gluten or wheat intolerance. In my case, everything comes back normal/negative and I'm still feeling horrible pain if I eat...
  4. He might still have an infection, did your doctor check for infection after the antibiotic treatment? Another possibility would be an imbalance of probiotics in his gut due to the antibiotic treatment. Has your son's growth curve fluctuated to any "pattern"? noticeable ups and downs?
  5. I just finished eating a bunch of rice bread/cake products, still a few more to go but I think I have enough "data" along with other stuff I have tried. So here are the results, all references to pain are abdominal pain 1-2 hours after eating (mind that I can eat ALL of these without pain prior to Christmas 2011): Kraft Mac & Cheese (Mac only...
  6. How do I test for yeast? I do know that the "fluffier" that bread, the more it hurts. Also, semolina/pasta (things made from durum wheat) really hurt. So if gluten, rice flour, and whole wheat cereals do not hurt, how do I rule out the above?
  7. If anything, my stomach has a psychological problem. :/ Because I'm feeling one thing and its feeling another, plus it still does not explain why only wheat flour hurts. UPDATE: So I got rice bread, I got a couple that are gluten-free and a few with 20-25% gluten. I have so far tried BOTH rice breads/cakes, both with and without gluten and so...
  8. Actually, eating a lot of those foods does make my stomach feel full (very fast) but I still feel starving, hungry, and tired. It's like feeling hungry but no room to put anything in my stomach. Btw, just got a bunch of rice breads and cake, I already ate one rice bread and so far so good...
  9. This gluten-free bakery makes things out of rice or corn flour, so I'm able to elimiate either wheat or gluten as the trigger, going to find out today... frieze: it was some one I never met at a grocery store. Thanks everyone.
  10. Thanks Periwink, I do want to mention that I did have ED when I was around 12 (binge without purge) and it was shortly after a random sexual assult. That was the huge weight gain in my early teens that I now lost all the weight from. I feel so strange being so heavy and big and now being so thin and starving, I always thought that it was safe for me to...
  11. Yes, I have both the endoscopy and pillcam reports, both report normal small bowel and nothing out of the ordinary. I had the Celiac profile (bloodwork) and it was normal, biopsies where only positive for H.Pylori. I avoided gluten from Feb, Mar, Apr, May of this year, during that time I still felt weak and crampy, I only missed by period in Feb but...
  12. I'm not 100% sure if it's wheat flour or gluten, I know that I can eat unprocessed wheat like cereals without any problems. I also need to figure out if it's the "bleaching agents" in enriched wheat flour that is causing me the problems because I've known for quite some time that I am allergic to bleach. What if there is some third factor that is...
  13. I've been ton dozens of doctors all around LA, I've had an endoscopy and a pillcam and I have seen the images myself, there is no damage. I have tried going gluten free and wheat free for a couple of months earlier this year in the Spring. When I ate a quarter of a doughnut to challenge wheat again I had the exact same pain and passing out. I'm just...
  14. I have been eating other foods, but at times I feel like I eat so much until I'm bloated but I still feel like I'm starving. I'm just not used to not eating bread since I have eaten it my whole life and then this suddenly happens one day after Christmas. Every test I've had says I'm not allergic to wheat or gluten, I can understand if I'm born with...
  15. What were your symptoms that made you suspect Celiacs and were you symptomatic during your blood draw? Eating pizza (like what I did) is not enough, you have to be symptomatic (in my case, in pain or passed out) for the test to be reliable. My IgA was 147 (normal range is 81 - 463 mg/dL), I was having symptoms too, so it's baffling for me as well.
  16. Ever since last Christmas when I suddenly developed an acute reaction to breads (severe abdominal pain and then passing out an hour after eating bread), everyone, my doctors, and myself have been wondering why I don't just eliminate breads from my diet and be happy. I finally think I figured out why; originally, I thought it was because I absolutely had...
  17. Thanks for the insight! No, I have not baked breads at home, do you know how I would go about that to "experiment"? Is there a list of ingredients I should buy, make, and try? Is yeast only found in wheat bread? Is there yeast in corn or rice-made breads too? I know I am NOT allergic to rice or corn-made anything. I double checked and I have...
  18. OP here, let me add some more details to clarify. I started reacting to breads back in December 2012, and it was acute (sudden), I had eaten breads (anything made from wheat and gluten) all my life. I tested NEGATIVE for Celiacs, NEGATIVE to all allergies and antigens to gluten and wheat. However I am still reacting (and by reacting I mean having...
  19. I heard about it too looking at their menu. Has anyone here tried it yet?
  20. Does anyone know the difference between cereals and all other forms of breads? I only know that cereals are not ground to a flour. I'm asking this because I do NOT have a reaction to cereals yet have a reaction to almost all other forms of breads.
  21. I have been eating mini-wheats almost every morning for two months, it's not causing any pain. What if it's not gluten but something else about bread? I tried a 1/4th of a doughnut in the morning two weeks ago and was killer pain. X.X
  22. If it exists, is there only one type? where can I learn more about it because even searching online there is only mention of Celiac-caused bread pain. I am trying to avoid gluten, but avoiding or not avoiding it does not seem to make much of a difference. It only hurts when I eat breads/pasta and the rest of the time I'm starving as if the other "safe...
  23. Is it acute? what about rice and mini-wheat cereals? those are the only two breads that do not cause any pain for some reason. What is different about them?
  24. Right that's the thing, mini-wheats does NOT contain "enriched wheat flour", it's "whole wheat". BUT I have eaten whole wheat bread and it DOES hurt. I'm not sure if milk helps or not, it does not seem to make much of a difference. I know that I do NOT have an acid problem. I have tried Omeprazole, Sucrafate, Bental, and even had two endoscopies done,...
  25. Bili was normal, also ultrasound of liver and gallbladder was spotless (NEGATIVE). I only eat plain bread/pasta, and it still hurt insanely bad. the ONLY cereal I can eat is mini-wheats, I just put it in milk. White rice is plain.
