  1. Most likely the crankyness and all of that is just a stage in growing, but I would still get her tested at least once every two years if not every year. Although she may not have Celiac now, it can come on suddenly. Hope I could help! Lisa
  2. ALL Centrum products are gluten-free, and I would recommend the Kids kind. Does she care if its Rugrats or Spongebob?????
  3. Wow! Thanks for all of the info. I'll try to check it out!!! P.S. It feels good to know that I'm not the only one spelling/saying it weird. Lisa
  4. Thank you sooo much... and sorry about the spelling!!!
  5. I highly doubt that they are gluten-free. How they describe their "Party Batter" doesn't sound very safe. Maybe e-mail them and ask.
  6. That would be sooooooo nice to have a bf that has celiac disease. But then again maybe not.
  7. Darn, I missed one.. but that is only because I accidently pressed gluten free when i knew it had gluten!.! LOL
  8. That certainly makes ME feel better because I thought that I was lactose-intolerant or something (and I LOVE milk and ice cream)!!!

  10. Oh wow... I didn't think of all of that.
  11. Hey! I am going through the same thing. It takes up to 6 months to fully feel better, 6 weeks to feel a little better. Are you having acid or burping or anything like that? That could be the garlic. My stomach also reacts on its own. It could be something else too. If you are not sure if you have Celiac, I would recommend taking the test. But then...
  12. How do you people know so much?
  13. I have MANY aches and pains, and its mostly in my legs. But its because my hips are turned in so it causes pressure. It has nothing to do with Celiac. Does your husband walk with his feet in or out? Any bones look weird? That could be the cause.
  14. Hey does anyone know of any gluten-free friendly restaurants in or around Coeur d'Alene ????
  15. Hey! Now, I don't have much experience with lunches and stuff because I was diagnosed in late May, but I would say take a yogurt or meat or something protein that would stay good cold, then maybe a piece of fruit, and then like a treat or something. Maybe a Hershey bar or gluten-free cookies. Good luck with junior high! Last year was my first year. If...
  16. Most of the restaurants in Downtown Disney have Gluten-Free menus. Just call ahead and you can order and they will make you a meal that is nice and safe.
  17. It isn't the same, but there is a list of good Gluten-Free restaurants at Open Original Shared Link but you do have to be a member of Yahoo to get to it. Maybe you can look up if any of those restaurants are near where you are going.
  18. But still look at the ingredients to see if it IS gluten-free.
  19. I think it is supposed to start in January of 2006
  20. I will be going to Cordeline, Idaho later this summer. Does anyone know if there are restaurants or Whole Foods or other good grocery stores there? I will be driving through Washington to get there, so if there are any restaurants/grocery stores there that are good, please tell me also. Thanks!
  21. I love to watch ANY sport, but I LOVE to play basketball!!! It is so fast-paced, so I can't think of any of my problems or stomach aches *haha*.
  22. What is her e-mail address?
  23. I am half Irish on my dad's side, but on the side that I actually got the Celiac Genes from, I am about 15%.
  24. These were some of my symptoms. Did you stop eating gluten???? It takes about six months before the test to start eating gluten again. How long have you been on the diet? Has there been any improvement?
  25. Maybe see if you can have your own table or something to cook on. Or just talk with your family and tell them that you are really concerned. I'm sure they will do something.
