  1. Ahhh.. yes that is what I have. Lisa
  2. My dad does some electrical work for In-N-Out, and he asked a guy if they can be absolutely sure that is gluten-free. He said to ask for the manager of the store, then ask him for a Gluten-Free Burger. He/she should know what that is. They will cook it on a totally separate, clean grill and someone with clean hands will make the protein-style burger! I haven...
  3. You have sensitive eyes, ears, nose, and taste (because of Celiac)! You have sensitive senses! Lisa
  4. Chebe is sooo yummy! I also found this pizza crust that is nice and fluffy (most gluten-free crusts are thin). It is from the Hungarian Bakery. They have REALLY good cinnamon rolls and biscuits too. I think you can order it online, but it looks confusing. Here's the website: Open Original Shared Link They are located in Virginia, just so you know. Lisa
  5. Hey everyone! I have always had a problem with stomach aches. Although they were not bad, they were still there. In sixth grade they started getting worse. The summer between sixth and seventh grade, I started getting acid and some kind of burping. It was horrible. Every night after dinner, it would almost sound like a fireworks show. Also one day at the...
  6. Just for everyone to know... (and I know its a hassle.. but) I would ask the Starbucks employee to clean out the blender that they are making your drink in. Sometimes they don't wash it out (most of the time they do, though) and there is a chance of cross-contamination. gluten-free Cheescake? Is that possible in a Starbucks? Lisa
  7. Oh! That makes sense. That makes a lot of sense! Thank you for making me feel not crazy! Now I can just tell everyone that I have sensitive ears! Lisa
  8. You should be very thankful Lisa
  9. Hillarious!!! And good idea about the letter thing! Lisa
  10. Wait.. do you mean two-three months into feeling better.. or actually having the diet?
  11. Wow.. thats kind-of scary. Don't worry.. I'm sure it is the same type of concept or whatever. Lisa
  12. WOW!!! Maybe it is connected with Celiac.. you never know. I am SOO glad that I made this topic!!! Oh and I can hear the rodent things too! We have some in the backyard! Lisa
  13. OMG!! That is SOOOO WEIRD!! At least I am not alone!! Thank YOU for re-inforcing MY faith in MY sanity! LOL It's kinda cool though because I feel like I have a superpower. Like the other night I came home from vacation and I heard that the T.V. was on so I told my parents. Sure enough it was! And if someone forgets to turn it off, like if they...
  14. Okay, I know this may sound weird, and it probably has nothing to do with Celiac... but... I hear the T.V. on even when there is no sound. Like if I am upstairs and say the T.V. downstairs is on input or something like that so no sound is coming out, I get a ringing sound in my ear. It is really weird. I told my family and they think that I am crazy but...
  15. Am I allowed to come??? I'm a teenager.. so...... Oh.. wait.. I guess I won't be in state anyway. So... um, if I am allowed to come can you guys tell me when the next get-together thing is?? Thanks Lisa
  16. Great! Thanks! Do you know if All is gluten-free??
  17. In some grocery stores they cell Fruity Pebbles with 1/3 sugar. It only comes out to about 5 grams or so.
  18. I was wondering if some detergents have gluten in them. If they do, do they cause a reaction?
  19. Thanks for the help, guys! I'll try your suggestions!! It sucks though because I do WANT to eat with them. I would be happy if I could just heat something up before and then just have a drink at dinner, but we will not have a microwave. Do you think that the hotel will let me use their kitchen???? I guess it can't hurt to ask!
  20. I have a question... can't we use eyeliner that has gluten in it?? I mean its not going to go down our digestive system is it???? I mean I can understand foundation because a little speck can get in your mouth, but eyeliner? Help!
  21. The improvement has been VERY slow, thats for sure. I guess I'll just have to wait to eat another banana . Thanks for the input!! Lisa
  22. Hey! I am having some trouble with my family. None of them have Celiac, and so they want to go out to eat more often. That is fine with me..... except that they want me to come. It is a huge problem on this coming up vacation to Idaho especially, and they keep saying that the hotel we are staying at is a very nice one. The chef will come out and all...
  23. I used to have problems with bananas.. like feeling bloated and an upset stomach. I haven't tried eating them since being gluten-free. Do you think I should try it?
  24. Also, check on a list of gluten-free foods to be sure you can have it.
  25. True, true. Well, I mean you wouldn't have to limit yourself. And dating another celiac, you would only have one thing in common, although it is quite a big thing, thats for sure. Uggghh, I don't know. Has anyone dated another Celiac before? Maybe someone should try it out and tell us how it is.
