  1. Is it normal to feel like you're spaced out, feeling like you're living in a constant dream, almost like you are super stoned. I've felt like this constantly for over a year and have recently gone gluten free 3 months ago as I have been getting rashes that look like dermatitis herpetiformis. It seems a lot of my issues are lessened in intensity since this...
  2. I highly recommend Saturn Cafe. They are very health conscious there.
  3. Yea I just figured out I was celiac three months ago. I am still nowhere near normal.
  4. Yea it makes a lot more sense. If you consider how mch gluten is in an ounce of bread and then realize how much is in a few milligrams of lipstick/past ingested food, it does not come close to the upper tolerance levels
  5. So I was just wondering. How likely is it that I can get glutened from kissing a girl who has not been eating or drinking recently. Is it possible to get it from her lip stick or make up. I would think that the amount of exposure I would get would be far below the recommended daily allowance of gluten exposure.
  6. I know new leaf has some options and whole foods as well. Its going out to eat thats the problem though.
  7. I was just wondering if any of you are in the Santa Cruz area. I am new to the gluten-free lifestyle and would love for you to show me the ways!
  8. Does anyone else out there have further information on dermatitis herpetiformis and its relation to neurological gluten problems. From the medical journals I have been reading dermatitis herpetiformis should be treated as a different but related disease as celiac and thus I'm sure different biological pathways are involved.
  9. Yea what I experienced the past year was definitely Derealization symptoms. Feels like I'm high all the time and that I am not really alive. These feelings have lessened in intensity as of my 2 months being gluten free. I'm not sure if anyone has experienced brain fog quite like that where things seem like a bad acid trip. In terms of my TSH, I am suppose...
  10. I had my vitamin D check few months ago and was a little low. I have been supplementing with Vitamin D and B12 and other vitamins. Dr refuses to test my B12 saying the test is inaccurate. I'm not sure how much damage I caused but i never really got stomach problems its weird. Like I still had very foul semi solid stool but I never really had any stomach pain...
  11. Has anyone had an experience of really bad brain fog. It is highly similar to Depersonalization/Derealization disorder it seems. At first I thought I had that but then I tied celiac into the rash I kept getting which looked nearly identical to dermatitis herpetiformis. I have since been off gluten for 2 months now and the rashes seem to have disappeared though...
