  1. Wow! That is a great doc! Well I still have this hideous rash on my legs I am going to ask to see a dermatologist and see if they will biopsy and I still have the GI doc wanted to do an endoscopy anyway so we will see. Regardless I am going Gluten free tomorrow and see what happens. Otherwise I give up I have nothing else I can think of.
  2. Wow someone had done their homework.
  3. I just went to my doc and quest diagnostics did it and my insurance paid for it.
  4. I did have a brief trial and felt so much better! I guess that is why I am so surprised.
  5. Wow I guess there is still a chance but I am just going gluten free to see how it goes.
  6. Well I think testing is over but I do plan on going gluten free tomorrow regardless.
  7. OMG......... So they are negative which means not Celiac. What does the rest of it mean? HLA-DQ2 (DQA1*05/DQB1*02) Negative HLA-DQ8 (DQA1*03/DQB1*0302) Negative HLA-DQA1* 01 HLA-DQA1* - HLA-DQB1* 0502 HLA-DQB1* 0602
  8. Here is the link you can actual click on pictures and make them bigger. There is a wide variety of pics here and I found one that looks very similar to my rash see if you find yours. Open Original Shared Link
  9. I was only gluten free by accident before testing. I was doing an Adkins type diet with my mom. I got SOOOO much better in 2 weeks but my doc wanted to test for Celiac. So he said I needed to be eating Gluten and I had a big bowl of pasta the night before. OMG I had the worst night and last 3 weeks. I have continued to eat gluten in prep for a biopsy but...
  10. Haha well it didn't start off as the same post but sure ended up that way. You are right everyone is. I just need to quit being the mother hen and let my siblings take care of themselves. It is just hard when I see a way to fix everyone! That said I did have wonderful results and I can't wait to get back to that! So I will do what I can but come first thing...
  11. I can deal with whatever comes as long as I can walk on my vacation other symptoms can be dealt with. Thanks!
  12. Lucky for me I already have a GI doc. I have elevated liver enzymes and severe GERD. Plus he wanted to do an endoscopy in Aug anyway. I think I could get him to bump it up if I begged. Just need to explain the situation. I just didn't know if they would do it without postive lab results. Regardless you have made me think and I have decided. to just tell my...
  13. I did find that out after. I did not get a full panel the first time but I have a full list of tests to run the second time.
  14. You just answered the question I just posted. lol So they will do biopsies without blood work. I am guessing he didn't because he is my GP not my GI doc. So the tests are what he can do. I will have to go elsewhere for the biopsy.
  15. Do they ever do a biopsy before or at the same time as blood work? I am really hoping to get them done at the same time. I don't want to have to wait even longer to get a biopsy done and as a result delay going gluten free. I am about to have a melt down because with each passing day I feel sooo much worse. If I didn't need the diagnosis to get my family...
  16. Hello, I'm still trying to figure out how to navigate this site. Thanks for adding me to your friends.

  17. Your doc is wrong........ you must be EATING gluten on a regular basis or it will show negative! I only went off gluten for 2 weeks and my doctor still thinks we got a false negative.
  18. Uhhh..hello. Just kidding. Thx for the birthday wish. What kinda cake do you like i will make sure I eat a piece for you hehe! Anyway im glad for you that ur gluten trial is almost over. Good luck with your test results :-)

  19. Feel free to say hello. Have a feeling I will be here a lot. ;)

  20. Was reading posts. Bits and pieces of your story. Sounds like you were on death's door step before diagnosis! Ughhh....... Makes me feel almost lucky. Thank you for sharing your story. I have had symptoms back to birth! I was a Failure to Thrive baby. 12lbs at a year old, I had intusseception right before my first birthday. They told my mom I was going...
  21. My son's symptoms are the ones that led to Celiac. I am getting tested first. He has bad tooth enamel, white poo, ADHD among other things.
  22. Well as sad as it sounds let's hope for 2 positives. lol
  23. OMG........... It is like I am reading about myself except the 7 year old is carrying the groceries and I am a single mother. I almost can't make if from my car to the front door of my work and I park right on the side of the building. I had to change to a sit down job from one where I was on my feet 12 hours a night. I feel like an invalid and just knew...
  24. Ahhh that is right it was you that said it. lol I just couldn't remember it right. 3 months was how long you lasted not the recommended amount of time. Ughh I sure hope that is not the case with me. I really need this diagnosis I know it would help at least 4 memebers of my family and maybe more. They won't get tested or even listen unless I test positive...
  25. I am in the same boat but 2 weeks in. My doc said 4 weeks but some say longer I have heard up to 3 months. I myself and going with the doc because it is sooo awful. I am sooo sick I can't hardly stand it and I am only half way through. But I am very new at this so I would see what the other ladies have to say.
