About Me

I am a 38 year old mother of 2 girls and happily married!

I was recently diagnosed with Celiac's Disease during the beginning of April 2012. Gluten Free isn't very new to me as I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia a little over a year ago and was told that going Gluten, Diary, Caffeine, and nightshade free was the way to avoid being in pain. So I tried it, fell off the wagon and was on again and off again not really being discaplined over the last year. However, this past couple months has been a different story with having to go completely Gluten Free!

I will be moving to Ohio soon and hope to go to Culinary Arts school and possibly become a gluten free baker!

  1. Ok, so Dani Nero, this post isn't bad...well, at least for me. I am newly diagnosed and honestly had NO CLUE or even thought about the "kissing factor" with my hubby. I don't expect him to eat gluten-free and never gave that a thought after we've eaten a nice dinner and he's consumed GLUTEN! I am totally bummed now that there is yet another thing I...
  2. This happened to me as well a year ago! The doctor/specialist told me to go Gluten free and 2 months later told me he was testing me for Celiac's. NEGATIVE! This year they tested me again after I'd been eating it consistently and whah-lah! But I would say just continue eating Gluten Free if it made you feel better. Just be sure to take your vitamins...
  3. Hello everyone! I'm new to the Gluten Free thing. I'm 38 and have recently been diagnosed with Celiac Disease. Last year I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia as well and was told that going Gluten Free, Dairy Free and steering clear of nightshade vegetables and plants would help greatly. So until about 5 weeks ago I had been as gluten free as possible. ...
  4. I agree with eating the ginger however I thought the purpose of the essential oils was because they were natural. I would never put something that had fragrance or other chemicals outside of natural ones on my skin as it would cause other reactions that I've developed to things over the years. I think having something to take the edge off of the symptoms...
  5. My sister-in-law is a massage therapist and just got done taking some classes about the positives in using essential oils. She just game me two, Chai and another for Flu. I would love if someone could direct me to come that help dizziness and fatigue naturally. I've just recently been diagnosed with Celiac and am having trouble coping with certain...
