    I feel your pain.. try being allergic to wheat, dairy, soy, eggs, egg whites, beef, pears, bananas, apples..probably more that I don't even know of yet....it does really stink, frustration/tears are acceptable.... but hey, there are worse things.

    "Volvulus" is twisting of the intestine. I find it very odd that a doctor would diagnose someone with that and not do anything about it. (Malpractice) Did you have upper GI to diagnose that problem?? Very serious issue you are talking about if infact that is what you have...life threatening if not taken care of in time.     Have you tried potato?? White rice?? My son is dairy, soy, wheat, eggs, beef etc...it does get tricky, he is only 1. He likes sweet potato as well. You can make fries out of them too. All Natural Alexia brand french fries are gluten free as well, they have Yukon Gold julienne fries with sea salt, and some others that have different flavoring in them....

    Oh you can bet I will have the sharpie out...I had already marked some things in the cabinet prior to this happening. I don't mean to sound stupid, but I made a mixture of potato starch flour, rice flour and tapioca flour...do you have another suggestion for flour?     I'm going to make it with eggs just to try it out, it sounds so good!! (I don't have celiac disease, just my son) I will keep playing with it though to figure it out so he can have it.

    You know I am just going to make the rice krispee cake. I will just make it really big, use lasagna size pans and layer it and I can make frosting and maybe color it light blue.....my son won't know the difference, but atleast it will look good.     I was going to ask the same question....it is so gross, so I am thinking I am making it wrong also. Same issue eggs. I just made the cinnamon kind and just used extra oil and applesauce....not so good! Tried the pizza one last week, used sweet potato instead of egg....hard outside, gooey inside.....

    ok, thanks, I will try that as well. There's got to be something that works. I just made a terrible corn bread and then terrible cupcakes. I even tried to make that chebe bread, the pizza one, but you need eggs, so I used vegetable puree for that one.......yuck!! It sounds like everyone loves that bread so I know it has to be because of the eggs........

    Live in MA, don't have Wegmans. I will keep looking, there's got to be something that is soy free as well. I just tried a banana for an egg, it was ok but gives it a little bit of a banana flavor and it was for corn bread. I think I will try applesauce again and see how that works. I know you can use Fruit Puree as well...... Thanks for your help.
