    Never heard of it. Is it something I purchase as is, or do I have to prepare it? Is it powdered form, liquid?? I know flax seed... I will try anything.

    Thanks, I will trty it! I did try a package cake mix once but it was so awful, or atleast I made it awful. I almost bought an egg substitute today, it was powdered but it contained soy. I haven't been able to find the ener-g egg replacer, is that liquid form?? I thought maybe I would have to order it from the company direct? I will try that cake recipe...

    Does anyone have a good, I mean good dairy,wheat,egg, soy free cake recipe? I have tried and nothing good, always too sticky. I have mixed the flours..potato starch, Tapioca flour and rice flour. I have used the baking powder/vinegar/water for egg substitute....does anyone know of any other egg substitute that actually taste good? Or maybe a different...

    my son is dairy & soy allergy as well as others....just wondering what did you find for your daughter to drink that is nutritious?? He will be 1 year soon, still struggling with the formula issue. At 1yr they usually say milk anyways but that won't be the case with him.....searching for solutions..... thanks for any advice.

    I was just going to ask the same question...my son was only tested for the Anti-Endomysial and Anti-Tissue transglutaminase....they were both negative....he has numerous allergies and one is wheat.     My son is 11 months and one of his many allergies is soy, he will break out with eczema.

I gave my doctor the panel of tests that need to be done from your list above. My question is when the results come back I'm afraid no one will know how to read them??...

    It's too bad you have to quit your job, I know how you feel though it is very overwhelming. My son is 11 months and on top of celiac is allergic to egg, egg whites, dairy, soy, beef, pears.     I feel like I have been on my own with this, except for the help of the triage nurse, she is wonderful. Is it true now that if I have him tested for celiac it is to late since I have been trying to keep him gluten free? I hear you have to continue having gluten to be tested.     I just did a search for safe foods, and it gives you a list of safe and forbidden...on the list is says Malic Acid is ok but nothing about Maltic acid???

    I think your right about that, it is not considered allergy but intolerance. my son is allergic to wheat. The last time he was tested I said can you check gluten and then it came back positive.     Thanks for the tip. I will get in touch with you again if I decide to go that route. Trying another formula Pediatric E028 tomorrow, hopefully that will work. I will get in touch with my OB too, to see what he says about it. Thanks for the help.

    He has tried Alimentum, no good. He has tried Nutrimagen, no good. We are trying our last one tomorrow it is Pediatric E028, it is actually in the form of juice boxes. Hopefully that will work. Going back to Children's hospital in Aug for another meeting with dietician, so hopefully they will have other ideas.

    Thanks. Yes Neocate is a formula. And I am trying to find a formula for him. For the past 8 months he has been on soy and come to find out he is allergic as well. We are on our last try with formulas. The Neocate Junior is so disgusting tasting I doubt anyone on fear factor could drink it. I have now been just adding a small amount and into grape juice...
