Pizza is one of the foods that both my son and I missed. We now use the pizza crusts made by Kinninnick, they taste great. Just add your toppings and it is cooked in about 15 minutes. My husband will even eat some. Hope this helps.

Today is my first day on the scd diet. I hope that it helps me feel better. I have been tired and depressed and it sounds like my digestive track is to blame. It will be a long journey, but hopefully worthwhile.

I find this discussion interesting. I just finished reading the book and it makes a lot of sense. My brother has been on the diet for about a month. I just don't know if I could follow such a restricted diet.

Welcome to the forum. I have found it very helpful and supportive since being diagnosed almost a year ago. I live near Winnipeg. We have a great store in Winnipeg called Lorenzos. The owner has celiac and the entire store is gluten free. They sell prepackaged products as well as fresh baking. You can even special order birthday cakes.

Thanks for that thorough reply Kim. A couple of people have mentioned a relationship between casein and rashes. I have not heard about this before. Does anyone have any information?

I understand your frustration. I am currently dealing with being glutened, I'm not sure where or how but it has happended. My skin is so itchy and my head also hurts. I also dealt with the gastro problems. Sometimes have celiac disease just sucks and we have to live with it, although sometimes it is just so difficult. I hope you feel better soon

Thanks everyone for your input. I guess I need to try to determine other things that could be causing the rash in addition to possibly gluten.

Last Friday I think I had a bad gluten experience. I went out for lunch with some coworkers, and I thought I ate safely. Within an hour of returning to work I felt dizzy and then I quickly ran to the washroom to vomit. Since them I have had itchy skin on my arms, I even wake up from the itchiness. It is amazing the places where you find gluten. I never thought that my favorite hair spray would have wheat starch in it, but it does. You have to read every label to be sure. This disease can be frustrating.
