ARCHIVED What Do You Think Triggered Celiac For You?
Rachel--24 replied to a topic in Related Issues & Disorders
I agree...and after reading this I cant say I want to run out and buy this book. I have no problem with people labeling themselves Celiac if thats what they choose to do.....but I think its irresponsible for a Dr. to make a statement like this in the foreword of a book which is meant to be informative. Its obviously not Celiac Disease that his son has... -

Yeah a couple years ago when I was on disability (but feeling pretty good on the candida diet) I was outside watching the show and the chemicals were bothering me alot....eventually I had to go back inside. There was a ton of fireworks though....seemed like half the block was doing them so there was alot of stuff in the air. I thought I was smelling... -

Lisa was already very sick and very toxic which is why she had to get them out. She was already very weak going into it and didnt have any Dr. to really guide her with the proper supplementation to help her body get through it without getting worse. Also her removals were too close together. I think shes only doing one at a time...but still....its another... -

It sounds like alot to me. Remember that your fragile right now. You cant just start out at the max dose for anything....you have to take baby steps and work your way up. Your body's not used to it.....let your body get used to small doses and then work up. If you start out big most likely you're gonna always get reactions. I looked on my bottle of L... -

No....it wasnt bad that you did the DMPS challenge. It was only a small one-time dose. I was talking about actual DMPS chelation therapy....you dont want to do any chelation therapy while still having amalgams in. OOOooooh....FIREWORKS in the street!!! YAY!!! Gotta go see the show. -

Yeah...you dont want to have any kind of chelation until all the amalgams are out.....not that any Dr. would do that anyway. At least I would hope not. How many amalgams do you have? If its alot you'll need to space them out. Getting them out all at once or too close together can cause too big a hit for your body. Too much exposure and not... -

Basically, aquired gluten intolerance is a completely seperate issue. I have an "aquired" gluten intolerance brought on by environmental biotoxins. You can see them all listed in my signature. Yes, if I eat gluten I will take a step backward with my health. If I eat a bunch of processed food I'll take a step back, if I drink alcohol I'll take a step back... -

ARCHIVED How To Get An Elisa Test
Rachel--24 replied to holdthegluten's topic in Post Diagnosis, Recovery & Treatment of Celiac Disease
Your Dr. has to order the test kit from a lab who runs the test. I got tested through Great Smokies (they've since changed their name to Genova Diagnostics). My Dr. did the blood draw and sent it back to the lab. This is a lab in which you need to have the test ordered by the Dr. and they send the results to the Dr. Open Original Shared Link I had... -

Hint: She will have much worse visions if you take the modifilan out of the capsule....trust me on that. Modifilan is heinous out of the capsule...its a mess...sticks to everything (the glass, roof of your mouth) making it really hard to deal with. Plus it tastes even WORSE than chlorella. It pretty much tastes like the ocean or something. ... -

Sorry you are still feeling bad. I think since you've only been recently diagnosed it could still be Celiac related. It might take awhile to feel 100%. It was helpful for me to keep a journal to try to pinpoint what things might be triggering reactions. Since you've had similar reactions to antibiotics before...I would suspect the antibiotic... -
ARCHIVED My Unusual Symptoms
Rachel--24 replied to a topic in Post Diagnosis, Recovery & Treatment of Celiac Disease
Hmmm....I have DQ1 and I never had depression. I ate gluten for 31 years and had no depression. I ended up gluten intolerant caused by other conditions and then I became depressed....but the depression didnt appear to be linked to gluten in my case. I still get depressed occassionaly (I'm still sick) but I've been gluten-free for 2 years now. -

More stuff from my Dr.'s presentation: Non-prescription Lyme treatments To reduce the virulence of co-infections, it has been my preference to start treatments with more broad spectrum herbs, then switch to prescription antibiotics if needed Samento (work up to 30 drops daily or more in water or juice with electrolytes) If tinctures are not tolerated...
