    Give it some time....I still have some "foggy" days but nothing like before. Its frusterating though...I know how you feel. It will definately get better with time and adherance to the diet. You will get your mind back.

    Brainfog...it was probably my worst and most frightening symptom. Nancy and Susan described it well...for me it feels like I'm trapped....my mind just wont cooperate and even the most simple tasks seem undoable. I couldnt read because my memory was terrible and after one paragraph I'd forget what I'd read and have to start over. I could never get past page...

    LOL...yeah, my gluteus maximus hurts. The only pizza I've seen frozen is Amy's. I think it must be new. Susan, Donna...are you both registered for Stanford? Is it too late? Is there a cutoff? Are you guys going for sure? I'm assuming there will be lots of food...which sucks for me cuz I cant eat it but what else goes on there? Need more...

    Not to be a downer but C Diff is notorious for being difficult to get rid of. Could be the Flagyl, the chicken or C. Diff...I would get retested asap if the D persists. Sometimes Flagyl doesnt work...in that case the next step would be Vancomyacin. Hope its gone but if you *do* need the Vanco....at least it doesnt have all the nasty side effects that Flagyl...

    I've mellowed out on the ice cream a wee bit....still eating it...just not in mass quantities. You know...cutting back but not giving up entirely...like eating 8 nuggets rather 18!

    Wow...alot of reading tonight. Just stopping by to say hi to everyone in R-ville. Monday's always suck and I'm really tired from lack of sleep. Time to crash out now.     Susan....I meant to tell you this yesterday. Dove makes chococlates with almonds in them now!! They're pretty new. We just got them in a couple weeks ago at my work....yes, besides being the dairy manager and stocking all the yogurts and cheese (which I cant have)...I'm also in charge of the candy section. How cruel is that?? The new Dove w/ almonds come...

    Celia, its true...I've read that lots of times. I smoked for 14 years...exactly half of my life at the time I got sick....and I was perfectly healthy all that time. I quit smoking and that same month my symptoms appeared. I had always said "How can this happen? I quit to be healthier and all of a sudden I'm sick to the point I cant even work!! ...WTF???...

    Sorry Lynne and Chels, Next time I post regarding weight gain I'll try to do so in a less enthusiastic manner. I'll leave out the WOOHOO's....how's that. Weird how we can be at opposite ends. Chels...if I was doing a gluten challenge....there would be nothing left of me...not a good thing at all. I think I'd rather be a "gainer".
