  1. Yeah....see, I knew there was a reason I put this in the Post Diagonsis/Recovery forum!! It was just kind of lost on me for awhile while I was having fun playing in Rachelville!
  2. Tanya, I'll be saying lots of prayers for Megan. I think about her upcoming surgery everyday and I know she'll have many many people praying for her on that day. Thanks for posting the info. for Megan's website.
  3. LMAO...Oooops that was a typo. I meant to say "testing". That would be pretty damn gross if I had to taste my samples!
  4. No....not today. I think its been about 5 months since they told me I had it but I just never retested after the antibiotics....mainly because the stool test is kind of a PIA. I just started the test this morning but its one of those ones where you have to give about 5 different samples over that many days...so I wont even be done with the tasting until...
  5. Celia, glad your appt. went well. Sounds like you're healing girl!
  6. You are too funny... Yeah...can we pleeeze get rid of whatever the heck is plagueing me all this time. Is it the alien baby, the C. Diff....or something else that we have yet to discover?? I know my immune system is really strong at fighting stuff because I NEVER get sick....This whole time I think I might have gotten maybe 2 colds. I seriously...
  7. Yay...I hope you have good luck with it. I have to reorder today. By the end of the week I'll be done with my first bottle. I'm kind of hoping the stool test shows a parasite or something this time...something like that would definatelty explain my slow healing process. I think if I had a parasite...which I then got rid of....that combined with...
  8. Morning everyone, Dont know if anyone remembers cuz its been awhile but I was suppossed to take another stool pathogen test that I've been lagging on. My first one back in (I think Feb.) came back positive for C.Diff overgrowth and Candida overgrowth. I took antibiotics for the C.Diff and was suppossed to retest after 1 month. Well...its been about ...
  9. ChelsE, I noticed you are now officially "penguin". Should we still call you ChelsE??
  10. Mango, Learn all you can about farming from the natives in Australia...we'll need your expertise when you get back. OH....and I'm not sure if I've mentioned this already but could you pleeeese bring back a koala bear?? If you could that would be great....just put it in your bag and fly it over to Rachelville where it can live in our trees. That would be...
  11. LOL Matilda...OMG...who knows where this thread will be in 2 weeks. Maybe Rachelville will be well established by then and we'll all be eating our Auxigro free veggies straight from the gardens. Of course in Rachelville stuff tends to happen pretty quickly so it'll probably only take a day or so for all of our crops to come in and our lake to materialize...
  12. Yeah...me too and it makes me all woozy and weak if I see it...so you wont find me volunteering to do any blood draws in Rachelville. I'm such a baby. I've never gotten used to having my blood drawn...I still cringe everytime and I turn away and either close or cover my eyes. I know....what a wuss huh? One time the nurse told me I had been great...
  13. OMG...I never thought about that! Yeah...I'll be busy shopping at The-Other-Side-Of-The-Mountain Mall when those kind of chores come up!
  14. ROFLMAO!! Susan...you get to be the town comedian! There will always be laughter in Rachelville!! Hopefully we wont have to worry about devolving into The Lord of the Flies. Our crops shall always be plentiful....enough for everyone! (we'll get some extra cows...just in case )
  15. Amen to that! Snow on Xmas...I could definately live with that....especially since we wont be needing to shovel! Susan...I'm ok with 85....I can deal...I'll hang in the hot house that Donna just suggested. I could totally see myself gardening in the hot house. I love it. I did all my yardwork yesterday in the blazin heat and it felt sooo...
  16. Beverly, About the chicken, If you did have an overgrowth of some kind due to the antibiotics you would likely be exacerbating the problem if you're eating plain chicken which is not organic. It would be loaded with antibiotics and other crap that can definately make you sick (and continue to kill off good bacteria).
  17. C.Diff is a bad bacteria that is unaffected by most antibiotics. When the good bacteria are killed off....C.Diff can explode. You then have an overgrowth of a very bad bacteria.
  18. I've had lots of CT scans. Some only involved the liquid. Twice I was injected with dye. The liquid caused no side effects and to be honest it tasted good to me. The dye only caused the normal side effects listed above. Yeah...it totally feels like you've pee'd your pants but the guy had warned me of this ahaed of time. My radiologist was really nice...
  19. OK...I see everyones been really busy planning out Rachelville. ROFLMAO...Susan, you are soooo right about newcomers popping into this thread...only to find...well...alot of talk about the building of a small gluten-free town called "Rachelville", a place where we milk our own cows, who are diligently patrolled by geese, which are herded by a couple...
  20. ROFLMAO!!! Did I miss the election?? BTW....that was a nice post you just did...I'm proud of us too.
  21. Yeah...the geese idea was brilliant! Too funny. Its good to know we've got all bases covered on the farm.
  22. Mango... I'm going with you over the hill for sure!! Count me in for the shopping. I'll milk the cows too! hehe....see I cant be voted off the farm if I'm doing the shopping and milking now can I...even if I dont wear bonnets I'm good for some stuff.
  23. ROFLMAO Yeah...we defintaley cant have glutenous thoughts invading our nice gluten free, corn free , msg free, sulfite free, casein free cult farm!! Too much civilization and you never know what could happen. We'll have to keep our cows on leashes or they might wander over to the mall where some teenager may decide it would be great fun to tip...
  24. OMG....this is sooo how I picture it in my head!! Well...probably cause thats what I recall it looking like on TV. See....now this is where I'm torn. I want the picturesque landscape with the green hills, flowers, and serenity... but then we HAVE to have the mall right on the other side of the hill or I might die!!
  25. LMAO!! all of a sudden I've become a hippie nudist?? Hehe...I'm definately neither one of those! Remember...I did say I love clothes! Just not the long dresses and bonnets. They look good on the Mennonites I see at the grocery store....but cant see myself ever wearing anything like that. I'll stick to my ballcaps and overalls.
