    Even though the thread kind of went off track a little here and there...hehe...I still can answer questions about dairy. Er...avoiding dairy I should say.

    Thanks Susan....just so happens my mom works for SBC....except I think they just changed to AT&T. I dunno...they keep switching...I cant keep up. Anyways, I think she needs to get me hooked up. I'll be talking to her about this tonight.

    Yeah....and for the record I cant eat dairy. It was just some crazy idea I got that didnt last more than a few days at most. Too bad I cant go back and change the title...to something like "OMG...I may never figure all this out" "but lets all have a slumber party instead".

    Thanks....I gotta do something cuz I'm spoiled on my Moms computer all week with DSL and then I go home to my computer and I feel like I'm in the stone age or something. I get impatient and frusterated. Jersey...I also dont like to pin much cuz it takes too long on that computer..sorry. I know you're picking up my slack.

    Susan....you have to tell me about this. I'm still using dial-up and let me tell you...it sucks!!! Everyone tells me DSL is expensive. I already pay about $45 for unlimited long disatnce but how do I get the DSL thrown in too? I was told DSL alone costs over $50 a month. Yeah...thats a good description. Its very "cozy" here and yes....everyones...

    Rhonda, Thanks again for all the info. Between the sulfites and msg I'm finding it extremely difficult to stay feeling good. I react to produce but I thought it was only msg I needed to be concerned about. They spray a growth enhancer called Auxigro on the crops..and its 30% msg. Strawberries, grapes and potatoes are all heavily sprayed....actually the...

    Hehe...in other words we scared him off with all our girl talk. Hmmm...maybe it was all the stuff about ovaries?? By the way...my appt. with the OBGYN is tommorrow at 3:30.....hopefully I get something out of that appt. since I've waited a lifetime for it....well, at least 30 pages or so.

    RiceGuy, If you do fine with oraginc brown rice but not the enriched white rice then it could be a sensitivity to corn or free glutamates (msg). People with these intolerances get reactions from anything "enriched".

    I read that too...I think maybe Robbin posted it. It is kind of like that...a super long slumber party.     Rhonda, Thanks for your post. I'm sensitive to both msg and sulfites. I've done alot of research on both but still learning. When I was learning about what foods contain sulfites I had read that its no longer legal for them to spray sulfites on fresh produce with the exception of grapes and fresh potato products. Is this not true? I read it on several sites...

    OMG...I love those things. I always ordered those whenever I had Chinese. I can taste it right now...with that sauce on the tortilla. OMG..I had never once thought about those since going gluten-free. Thanks alot Fiddle-Faddle!! Just kidding...but I will be thinking about them the rest of the day. ChelsE...eat some for me too!!     I think that comes from gum recession. The gums arent totally covering the root of the tooth so the exposed area can cause that kind of sensation when you touch it. I dont think its related to food allergies though...I think it can happen to anyone. The dentist always tells me to floss more to prevent that from happenning....not that I'm good at following...

    Haha....the moon!! I was gonna blame all the cookies I just ate but now I'm not so sure ...the moon can do some crazy things...especially around here!! I never made it to bed yet....I made cookies instead. I think I'm just wanting my mom to get off the phone so maybe I can get another neck massage before bed.

    Ok...my eyes must be really fuzzy tonight cuz I just saw a thread titled " Oatmeal diet for Celiacs......raising the bar". I was thinking WTF....that is a crazy diet???? I had to squeeze my eyes shut and refocus...then I saw that it said "Optimal diet for Celiacs". I hate when my eyes get all blurry like that. Sheeesh I was ready to get on there...

    My gums get really sore from dairy. At least thats what I think its from. It only happens when I eat dairy....which is almost never...so it seems like I have my answer. Its a really uncomfortable feeling when it happens though. Fortunately its not that often.
