I've been trying to follow along but I think I fell behind the past few days. Dont know if I'll have time to go back but I will try. Melmak...I meant to ask....are you Kristina?? I saw Jin addressing a Kristina and was kind of stumped as to who that was. Sorry if I missed that. Hmmm...maybe KAT is Kristina?? Who is Kristina??? ... -

Melmak, What stands out to me about these foods is that they're all yeasty/moldy. Peanut butter = very high in molds Pickles = fermented and highly yeasty Dried dates (as well as other dried fruits) = very moldy Corn = the moldiest grain Those are actually all high on the list of foods to avoid with mold/yeast problems so you may want to consider... -

Mia, I havent had the DMPS yet...not until Friday. My first IV only contained glutathione, vit c and minerals. It was kind of a "practice" to see if I could tolerate it. I "passed" but have to wait a week in between IV's so cant do DMPS till Friday. I did react to the IV....I think it was the Vit. C but cant say for sure. I've reacted... -

Hey TS. Those symptoms are pretty similar to what I get...also the burning eyes, popping ears, bloating, etc. I definately cant cope with stress so I try to keep things positive in my life. The itchiness I get is sort of like a "prickly" type feeling all over...I think its mainly related to fungal issues (in my case anyways). I have... -

Its been a few years since I tried aloe vera juice.....my experience with it wasnt good. I *think* it contained citric acid....which is from aspergillus. -

I'm taking caprylic acid for yeast but I've stopped it as I'm testing the Biotin. Theres a good list of helpful supplements as well as some to avoid here... Open Original Shared Link About the Nystatin...sometimes I would be fine with it and other times I'd be very reactive to it...which is another reason I figure its probably better for me to leave... -

Rachel--24 replied to jerseyangel's topic in Food Intolerance & Leaky Gut
Hi Florence. I've taken Nystatin off and on for more than 3 years now. I'm not taking it anymore because it really doesnt "cure" the problem and one of my current Dr.'s is against me taking it because he doesnt want any pharmaceuticals putting my liver under any extra stress. So I take natural stuff for yeast. The yeast is highly linked with the metals... -

I wanted to share something with you guys. Remember the autistic boy at my work?? I've still been working with him all these months...and I have some exciting news! Well, all of this time he would have ups and downs...some days went good...others not so good. I got much better at communicating with him and calming him down on the "not so good... -
Me...in total denial?? Yeah....I suppose I did go back and forth in my mind (and in my posts) for quite some time. Its all settled now....I'm OK with everything.

Tiffany, I totally respect your decision and I've been posting on this board long enough to know that you are very capable of making the best choices with regards to your health. In no way would I ever belittle you, chastise you, pity you, etc. My only reason for posting is to offer information that might otherwise not be known.....and as you said...

I survived my IV...DMPS is sheduled for next Friday. Jin...the IV I had yesterday wasnt for chelation...it was just Vit C, minerals and glutathione. Next Friday it will be the same except with the DMPS added in. I tried to post about my experience last night but I lost my post and then the board was down. Tried again this morning and lost... -

Hi Melmak, I never tested positive for any sensitivities to food or environmental allergens...only in muscle testing but not in blood or skin tests. My immune system is definately in a reactive state and I do react to nearly everything...but nothing shows up. I've always felt that it was because its not the actual foods that are the problem...... -
This is true....but that doesnt seem to be the case with Fibro....because in most cases a root cause *can* be identified and treated. Of course this is only in those who are actually *looking* for a root cause. If those with Fibro identify the root cause of the symptoms and then treat it....those fibro symptoms tend to diminish. Because of that I dont...

Kassandra, I hope you can get in sooner with the GI...I'm glad to hear that you're gonna move forward with Lyme testing if you dont get answers soon. I'm concerned about the mold in your home. Its definately not gonna be helping the situation...hopefully there is some way to improve this?? Sorry about the chair...that really sucks... -

Matilda, One of the best things about learning all of this stuff and going through all the treatments is having a place to share it all...to get advice, support and to help others who are needing the same. -

Susie and Mia....the supplement list I posted was a really short version of what my Dr. has listed. I've posted the whole list but its been awhile. If anyone is interested I can direct you to the article and you can then save it or print it out. I picked some of the more mild treatments for Matilda....the list is actually alot longer. I'll post... -

That made me laugh out loud. Ummm..yeah....I recall having those same discussions with my mom about moving out AS SOON AS I TURN 18!! "I'm sooooo out of here the day I turn 18!!" Yeah right...I didnt really move out till I was 22. I was hardly home at all but I didnt actually MOVE my butt out till 22. -

I figured that with *any* symptoms and a positive test it would be better to start treatment rather than wait for things to get worse. I dont know for sure though...the Dr. would know better. Would you consider him to be asymptomatic?? I was thinking with the stiff neck and fatigue...it might be that he's having symptoms....just not debilitating ones... -

Mia, I agree with what everyone has said....I think its a REALLY good sign that you're seeing elevated levels of mercury. I was actually saying a little silent prayer about this earlier today. I'm hoping that my levels come out high when I take the test....otherwise I'm gonna be pretty bummed out. The Dr. told me he feels I'm not someone... -
This is my understanding of the term "wastebasket condition/syndrome" as well. Its a cluster of symptoms with no known cause. The symptoms are commonly associated with either IBS, Fibro. or CFS. I have seen the term used many times in discussions having to do with these syndromes.

Thanks Julie. I was planning on bringing a book. I have no idea why I didnt even think about bringing music!! I'll definately be doing that.....thanks for suggesting it. Ditto. Matilda...I forgot to mention exercise!!! Imagine that. I'm not too good at incorporating this very important part of healing into my own regime. ... -
