The last time I was in a hospital, I made sure to tell them I had celiac. They wrote it down on my form and gave me a bracelet saying what i was allergic to - gluten and apples. For some reason during my last pregnancy I had the worst heartburn and nausea. No word of a lie the only thing that made my mornig sickness go away was the combination of orange juice and japaneo smokies. Weird but it worked for me -
An option for canadians - I know at Superstore they have a drink similar to the one the OP mentioned but specifically designed for pregnant women. It comes in Chocolate and vanilla. I have never tried the vanilla as I am not a fan but the chocolate tastes amazing. I think it is Enfalac brand but not entirely sure. I do remember it was a brand known for...
