    Last night we ate a hotdog (no bun) for supper, we know they are gluten free. I just made put the mustard, chili, onions and slaw on top of the hotdog.     It's just the two of us and we still have regular bread in the house. My husband is 63 years old and doesn't eat a lot of bread but when he wants a sandwich or toast he will not eat gluten free.     My husband found 2 brands in stores that don't make me sick. 'Gluten Free Cafe' 'Pacific Natural Foods' Organic Cream Of Mushroom Condensed Soup We buy the Cream of Chicken, Cream of Celery and Cream Of Mushroom.

    I was reading somewhere that the wheel cheese they cut and velvetta is safe. I also read that blue cheese is not safe. Does anyone know off hand any others that aren't? Thank you.

    I was once a pretty good cook but everything I've tried with gluten free flour has turned out terrible. I have lost all confidence in baking. Maybe I'm like the old dog that can't be taught new tricks.

    We have stopped eating out because I got so sick last time and I only got veggies. My trust level is a zero now. I really miss going out.

    We buy regular Duke's mayo, it is simply the best.

    Basically I stopped bread because I guess I'd rather go without than settle for something I can't hardly tolerate. The gluten free breads are dry and not soft and have an odd texture. I've really struggled because to me none of the breads are good at all but we bought the Udi's dinner rolls last week. They are VERY good compared to everything I've had....
