  1. thank you! has anyone tried ground flaxseed? i would use the bread in the processor but i havent purchased any bread yet (we just went gluten free this week and i cant justify almost $6 for a loaf with the way my husband inhales it!). i will have to check the pre made bread crumbs though. i use them cooking a lot so that would be the best way for me. ive...
  2. what are some of the recipes you use? im always looking for a new one! i have the ninja masterfood processor/blender and it works wonders! its by far the best blender I've ever had and at a reasonable price too! my favorite juice is 2c spinach, 1c frozen pineapple and 2 frozen bananas. soo tasty!
  3. im going to have to look for those! im not gluten intolerant but am supporting my hubby.......and the only thing i could find shopping today was rice flour tortillas. apparently they dont hold together too well so idk how well they will do for creating a wrap.
  4. If you guys have a Zpizza near you, you should try it. It's to DIE for! and they have vegan cheeses too for you guys with dairy intolerances too! A little pricy but soooo worth it! If you sign up for their Ztribe mailing letter they send you coupons -- one of them being $5 off of your first order. And on your birthday they send you a buy one get one free...

  7. Open Original Shared Link <-- it sucks she doesn't have the recipe on her website but maybe you can go to your library and get it? Open Original Shared Link <-- heard this was pretty good.... I haven't tried either one but I have been looking into making breads and thought those might help you!
  8. I appreciate the tips! I will get his hospital record, but probably not until next month....short on cash and need that tax return. I have done some price comparison shopping and have decided to make my own breads because there is no way I am paying $6/loaf especially with the way he inhales it. I found a flour replacement (---> Open Original Shared...
  9. I appreciate your guys' input! I'm afraid I don't have answers for specific questions.....I thought, at the time, I was asking good questions when I would occasionally see the doctors, but apparently not! I think we will be going gluten free just to see if it helps. We don't exactly have the time or money to be going thru the hospital to try...
  10. So, I would love to hear any input that any of you may have about my husbands condition. I am at a loss of what to do for him as we don't have health insurance and the county hospital is a joke. His history is below.... any input or suggestions are greatly appreciated! June 1st of 2011 he was hospitalized for 4 days and received 2 blood transfusions...
