  1. Haha official marshmallows of celiacs! Thank goodness! I am always so happy to find safe foods
  2. I know Kraft says they will list any source of gluten on their labels but has anyone had any problems with these? I am trying to be extra cautious. Thank you.
  3. Thank you all so much! Can't help feeling anxious when doing new things
  4. I have my first dental cleaning appt since diagnosis coming up and am a little nervous about the products they use. Should I be worried about the polishes or anything else? I called and checked with the dentist already but I want to make sure I will be safe.
  5. A month or so after my diagnosis and cutting of gluten I started getting hives occasionally after eating. I took out of my diet dairy, nuts and quite a lot of other foods that caused the hives. Now, a few more months in, I keep getting more and more hives, not only triggered by food but exercise, pressure etc. Has anyone had this happen post diagnosis (I...
  6. Thank you shadowicewolf. I have seen a few allergists and no doctor has a clue on why this is going on. Any ideas on specific questions I can ask or different specialists I can see are welcome.
  7. I think it is a good idea to rule celiac out. The blood test is easy to do. I understand how it feels to be dismissed by neurologists. I was given pills and told the cause for my issues was idiopathic. I am sure there are cases where a cause cannot be found but it is good to exhaust all avenues in my opinion.
  8. Lisa, this is food I prepared myself. Eating out is a big no no at this time in my diet given the multiple new allergies I have developed. Gluten and cc was not an issue. Cauliflower was the new food I was introducing and immediately I had an allergic reaction to it. Guessing because I used to eat a lot of it
  9. How much is one person supposed to give with this disease? I ate a dish with cauliflower for dinner and burning itchy hives popped up!! Seriously? Just a few months in and I can only have half of the foods I could eat before. What will happen six months from now?? Just need to vent
  10. Thank you dilettantesteph. I am keeping a food journal for allergies and am on a rotation diet for the most part. But maybe it is a food group so will try eliminating more. Hope you feel better too.
  11. I have been gluten free for a little over three months now and the last two months I have noticed constant stomach / intestinal growling, mild pain and discomfort especially in the evening. Sometimes i even get heartburn type symptoms.I am being as gluten free as I can, taking digestive enzymes, cut dairy and a few more foods that I was allergic to. Is this...
  12. Mine came on very suddenly. I was fine for 28 years and then just like that.... I got celiac.
  13. This is so helpful. I think it's best to eliminate all the gluten we can
  14. Sounds delish mbrookes. Thanks for the recipe
  15. Fellow celiacs has anyone experienced any problems with the plain Quaker rice cakes?
  16. Thank you so much!
  17. Is Jello pudding gluten free? I read Kraft's statement on their website and I am sure it has no gluten ingredients based on what they say, however am more worried about cross contamination. Have any of you had any problems with them?
  18. A little bit about my celiac story. I have been healthy all my life until a few months ago when I suddenly started developing chest pain and numbness, and within a few months escalating to some stomach upsetness and heartburn, muscle cramping, pain, burning etc. (all fun stuff). This started happening when I was away on my honeymoon and deteriorated when...
  19. That is really helpful VeggieGal. Thanks!!
  20. Thank you. Glutagenics contains both of these along with aloe vera. I will give it a try and hope it helps.
  21. Thank you. That means they are off my table for now. I do not notice any stomach issues when I accidentally get cross contaminated but might be too early to tell (only been a few months on the gluten free diet). My symptoms were mostly body pain and neuropathy type and those are just not getting better unfortunately.
  22. Hi all! Does anyone have a good supplement to recommend for leaky gut? I am starting on glutagenics soon but any reviews and recommendations would really help. Thank you.
  23. I have been relying on the utz baked tortilla chips as a snack lately even though it is not certified gluten free. I unfortunately do not get any symptoms when I get glutened but have generally not gotten much better since i started my gluten-free diet a few months ago. I am trying to take a second look at everything I am eating even though I mostly eat fresh...
  24. Thank you. Any more stories on how quickly people saw their antibodies decline back to normal levels? Was that associated with the symptoms being resolved?
