I was pretty sick for a while after diagnoses and going gluten-free but now I'm getting and stronger everyday. I don't think they were talking about the Pure vanilla, but some "vanilla's" do have other things added to them. The key here is "PURE". Did you happen to take your cooking class at Wegman's? They were probably trying to sell their extracts over other people's brand...Wegman's has extracts that the specifically list gluten-free. You know how marketing goes... -

Any one who knows me, knows the hell I've been through since the beginning of Dec....Started with a bad cold, then horrable acid reflux (still fighting that), and then what they thought was a rectal prolapse...I was sent to a surgeon but the surgeon doesn't think it was a rectal prolapse but instead some sort of disfunction with the muscles in the intestines... -

My GI told me not to cut out Dairy unless it upsets my stomach, being with the damage done in the intestines some people have a harder time digesting dairy. I have not had a problem. Hugs Bridget -
I've been on zelnorm 2 years and you only have side effects for the first couple weeks of taking it. As long as you get it in the white pre sealed container then Novartis, the manufacturer, gurentees it is gluten-free ( I had contaminated Zelnorm once in the past from Walgreens after they opened the container from Novartis, recounted it with gloves covered...

I'm having the Greatest Week!! My GI just called and with my latest tests my anti bodies are back at a normal level, which is alot better than the 70 (normal is 20 and under) I was testing at in late September. That means my body is responding to treatment (gluten-free DIET) and healing all the damage celiac caused and I'll live a long, normal life as long... -

I only live 10/ 15 minutes away but it seems a lot longer with the traffic...only been into NYC twice this year and everyone keeps telling me I should come in more often. Black Bear there was no risk...Deli Manager at Shopr rite got the pre sliced/ Pre Packaged ones from Black Bear...guarenteed gluten-free. My deli guy won't even use his slicer (no matter how clean) because he doesn't want the chance of making me sick. As long as it is sliced and packaged from manufacturer and guarenteed by them gluten-free...ther is no risk... -

All Boars head is gluten-free (Checked with them in November and as of Nov. 20th their entire line went gluten-free)...also Black Bear Virginia Ham, Turkey, Smoked Ham and Bologna is gluten-free (Just make sure you get the pre packaged meat from the manufacturer because the deli slicer will contaminate the meat)....my deli guy won't even use a clean slicer... -
