  1. Thats great that they would do that for you. Sometimes people are amazing.
  2. Wedge deli sandwich rocks. $6.00 for sandwich and choice of fruit. They toast the bread in a toaster oven and it makes the bread taste LIKE REAL BREAD. I'm going to get a taoster oven for all my rice bread. Oh the joy of someone else making my food. Its been years.
  3. Your story is the same as mine. It does seem unfair. I've been gluten-free for about two years now. It took this long to feel very close to normal again but there are days I feel better than I ever felt before. So have hope. Don't give up. Some sugestions - post what your eating. people can make obsevations - keep a food diary -consider a warehouse...
  4. I live in minneapolis. The wedge coop at lyndale s. and franklin has the best peanut butter cookies I've ever had. $1.19 each but worth it . They also have a deli with glutin free items . I will try a glutin free sandwich next time I am there and review it here.
  5. How about a microwave oven set on a small range of frequencys that distroys only the wheat shaped protiens rather than heating the food. This would render any cross contamiments (sp) that were on the dish so it would make any meal safe then you could cook as you normally do. it would be nice to be able to serailze the food in this way.
  6. The Doughboy was "a gluten for punishment" but he will be missed.
  7. I'm glad it has a name because I thought I was crazy. The people talking about thier symptoms made the light bulb go off in my head. The diet is hard but improvement to my health is beyond what I hoped for. I say whine away. Not only is the info important but whining can be therapy as well.
  8. things to keep in mind glue on envelopes stamps soaps shampoos make up house hold cleaners medicine/vitamins laundry soap etc kissing others sharing a phone or keyboard with others we should make a list for new people of all the stuff (mistakes) that we went thru that isn't about gluten-free food
