  1. Hello Ava, welcome! It sounds like you have a GREAT pharmacist, lol! Smart guy. Lyme causes a lot of the body's functions to not function properly, so gluten intolerance makes a lot of sense. I have a celiac gene, so I'm doubtful I can ever eat gluten regularly again, but perhaps once I get some of this stuff taken care of I'll at least not have to worry...
  2. Could have been written by me... They have a specialized clinic here in the SF Bay Area. I don't think they are associated with any other doctors in other cities, altough I think they're planning to open another clinic in this area. They are a group of doctors: an internist, a nutritionist, chiropractor and physical therapist. They work as...
  3. I ordered from a place called immunolytics...I don't have the website linked here at home, so I'll have go post it from work. Scott the Betterhealthguy (I think www.betterhealthguy.com) also has it lised on his mold page. It wasn't cheap...5 plates cost $175!! One of them was damaged in shipment so I only used 4. Oh yead, definitely...hate...
  4. That's EXACTLY what I said...I'll put my house on the candida diet, lol. Then I think it was Carla who said I should sprinkle the powdered Nystatin on it. Their reference range is: 1-4 = within normal range 5-8 = cause for concern 9 (or more) is hazardous (illness likely) My bathroom and kitchen were both only a 1 !!!! My bedroom...
  5. You're welcome! Sounds like a great plan with the weeks off...yeah, you may NEED a week off after the mercury treatment. I don't know if you're planning to go back to read what happened in the last few days...did you see that my house DOES have mold, but it's not in the bathroom, and the only thing that ws found was candida! My house has candida....
  6. Yes, I had an endoscopy and a colonoscopy at the same time last year, then proceded to have two more endoscopies. I don't remember anything from any of them. WIth the first one (with the colonoscopy), I was pretty groggy for a while after coming out of it and appearently I asked the nurse the same question three times, and still don't know what the answer...
  7. Oh Rachel, I think that is the most exciting report I've heard from you so far!!!!!! Woo hoo!!! I'm so glad you are back!! Ha, yesterday I bought a bright orange polish. Today I added subtle glitter to my flowers. Yeah me too. Although, it's not a direct result, but the diet takes burden off teh body any my doctor says...
  8. Slept better last night! Yay. Me either...it's the one I was reacting too several months ago, but I'm hoping if Anna successfully desensitized me that I can have it once a week or so. I will also try the kosher or Empire chicken. I know you order from US Wellness meats...do you get their chicken? (Sorry, can't remember, although I know you...
  9. I didn't see any out, and didn't ask this time. I figured I'd try the regular ole Rocky first. Next week I'll ask specifically for the Empire or any other kosher chicken they may have.
  10. Yes, goat milk does have casein. It's structure is enough different from cow casein that some people can have it without issue...I was hoping I was one of them, but don't think so. Sucks big time. On a different note...made it through so far today without 1 nut, lol. No nut butters, nothing. Didn't buy any cookies, no chocolate chips, nothing....
  11. First the really important news....I have neon blue toes with pink flowers. (Well, not neon in MY definition, but that's the name of the color, lol) I slept better last night...well, at least until 2:36 am. Then not at all, but hey, got 5 hours of sleep in in one shot. The not so good news is that I have really bad D today. I don't know what...
  12. Okay, you're on...no nuts! Yeah, I'd like me a potato once in a while, but fortunately haven't eaten those regularly for the last 5 years or so, so almost used to it by now, lol. Yep, the funds are hard...I've gone into debt with all this testing and stuff, and that's no fun.
  13. You're welcome Suzie. Well, I'm sure a lot of the intolerances were due to the Lyme, mercury, mold toxicity, etc. So finding out that those were definitely problems was the first step. In November of last year, one of my doctors put me on an elimination diet to try to figure out what was bothering me. I never could figure it out because I reacted to...
  14. It's hard to be sure! The same thing has been happening to me...same symptoms after my goat milk/sheep milk yogurt experiment. I still haven't recovered. Definitely having abdominal symptoms too...and I've been very congested for about a week...haven't had that happen in nearly a year, so it really has to be the sheep/goat yogurts...possibly the overload...
  15. Nope, haven't heard from Rachel...she probably has another treatment this afternoon, so we may not hear from her now until later in the weekend. I hope we haven't heard from her because she's out having a great time somewhere, or at the very worst that the last treatment just wore her out a bit more than it seemed. Must recite this to myself...
  16. Carla, don't have (or haven't written it down yet) recipe. I think I am reacting to the almond butter...it's subtle but I still think I'm reacting. I DO think I can still have cashew butter, so could probably substitute. The only thing I think I might not be able to have yet is agave nectar. Maybe I could put just a touch of that in there and maybe a...
  17. Rachel better come back soon...we are SOOOOO off our scientificness. Yeah, I've even tried to make my own chocolate...THAT didn't turn out well at all. Yeah, after the day I've had at work, I wonder if *I* want to do that, lol. Sorry T is having such a terrible time. Yeah, the lack of portableness to our diets here is really...
  18. Julie! Was hoping we didn't lose you again! Yes, weird things just seem to happen around me, lol If it's weird, it's going to happen to me. Ain't that the truth. Funny story...My friend L and I have worked together for many years...we used to work in the same office, but now she works in another of our offices in another city...
  19. Didn't try it...the bag had a leak in it so I was afraid of bacteria (getting a bit phobic about that these days), and that one was in my freezer for at least 8 months I think, so I decided to buy 1 piece this weekend and try it the day I buy it...more of a true test. Delusions?! I think not. Not saying you wouldn't make a valiant effort...
  20. It's my super sweet personality. Yeah, that's it.
  21. Oh Charlie, I can't imagine what she is going through! Wow! The procedure sounds scarey in and of itself, but probably less so than a lifetime of the kind of pain she is in. Am I assuming correctly that that is a picture of her?
  22. Well, here are some things I found on my research about candida:
  23. Chocolate of course, lol...course that's absolutely the worst thing I can have...came up all over the place in BioSET, but it's my favorite. Didn't end up trying the chicken. It was in a ziplock bag, which looked okay when I took it out of the freezer, but when I took it out to cook it, it had a leak in the bag, so I decided not to chance eating it...
  24. Hey Patti, we've missed you!!!
  25. Thanks Andrea...you're making me want to go get the ASYRA test, lol! Got my blood drawn today for the test Anna ordered. The lab couldn't find the test...looked all over for it, I told them it was some kind of Vit D test. They ended up having to call Anna, who wasn't there for a long time, but they finally got through. Still never found the test,...
