  1. HI, I called Kix this morning on the 1 800 and the gal was very nice. She said that she will put in that I was looking for gluten info in to their idea box. Even though Kix wasn't gluten free, she did say that Yoplait yogurt was. Anyone of if this is true? Nicole in Michigan
  2. This is interesting. My dad used to get little white dots on his tounge and mouth after eating things like mustard and I don't know what else. I get these also when I eat pineapple and mustard. Wonder if this is a part of celiac. (My dad passed in 1985, when I was 13) Nicole
  3. HI, This is not my first grocery store break down. After an hour, my eyes start going funny and my head has enough. Hubby was with me today and it was helpful, but after a while I'd just had enough. I"d like to not to buy so much of Amy's frozen things and make some more of my own. I"m working on it, but it's hard at times. I"ve been making my own Buttermilk...
  4. HI, I've made nestled tolehouse cookies. The only thing I change is the flour and use Kinininikis (sp) Nicole
  5. Does anyone have a list of celiac "words" to stay away from? I"ve been making a list of them so far, but if someone else had already done it, I'd quit. Nicole
  6. Also get your vit. d checked! I was vit. d deficient and am taking 50,000 ius once a week. Nicole
  7. LOL, this is great, because this is exactly what I did last week. I just get frustrated with the whole thing, eating this way. SO, my son and I were out all morning and stopped at McDonalds. I ordered a fish and took off the bun, thinking a little is better then a lot. I usually get sick with in 40 minutes of eating her anyway, and we have called it McThrowups...
  8. So, could ankylosing spondylitis and celiac be related then? Nicole
  9. HI, I"ve read so many post the last few hours. I read one post about some one having pain with bowl movements and I thought YES, that is me. Sometimes I get the pains/cramps so bad, that I am doing a yoga kind of breathing to get through it. And the sweat just comes one with it. There have been times where it's so bad that I think I'm going to pass out and...
  10. HI, I am fairly new to all of this. My diet started out as a 6 week trial and now, 12 weeks later I'm still struggling through it. And YES, I do feel better. My question is, can/could celiac cause duodenal cancer? My father in law complained of stomach pains since the day I met him, over 16 years ago and he passed away on Jan 26, 2005. I have a duodenal...
