Hello, Well after taking the Prednsone since Feb 24, I began having trobles taking it. The last report from the Rheumy said "HLA 27 negative with edema, but no erosions seen on MRI of SI Joins, improved markedly with low dose steroid (until I began to be disconnected-that's another story). I would hate to diagnose her with AS and hope this is...

I think it also depends on where you live. It's not un common to be vit d deff if you are living in the upper portions of the US/Candada, etc. Nicole

Well, I'm still learning about where and what the gluten is in. But one thing that has stood out for me the last several weeks, like after making the kids lunches, especially if it's pbj, I lick my fingers if there's pb! Seems like I do that more then I realized. Nicole

ARCHIVED Pet Foodhappy4dolphins posted a topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications HI, I was reading about pet food and gluten on another post here and thought, lets make a topic out of it. I have noticed that even the treats contain a lot of gluten in them as well. WE buy the Nurto Rice and Lamb for our 21 week old black lab. Just putting in my two cents worth. Nicole

It wasn't good or filling and I finally went up and ordered a small speghetti with marinara sauce and ate it like...

ARCHIVED New Test Resultshappy4dolphins replied to Rachel--24's topic in Related Issues & Disorders HI, I have/had H.Polri too in the past. I've taken what's called a tip pack (I think that's the name) where it had three different typs of antibiotics and a nexium (or something like that). Now, if memory serves me right, I think the H. Polori can stay in your system for a few months, even if it's cleared up in your belly. Nicole

ARCHIVED Rheumatologist Saying I"m Not Diagnosinghappy4dolphins posted a topic in Related Issues & Disorders HI, Here's the scoop. I went back to visit with the Rheumy and she checked over x rays this time. She said that she's not going to diagnose AS. SO, I am weaning off of the Prednisone 10 mg, one mg at a time. SO, where to go from here?! She did say that if I can get off the Pred and I still hurt, we'd go another route. Ummmmmm, ok I guess. Nicole

ARCHIVED Daughter's Depression And Medshappy4dolphins replied to ERA's mom's topic in Parents, Friends and Loved Ones of Celiacs HI, I'm not sure of your location, but have you thought of SAD (seasonal affective disorder)? Generally, it's for the northern states like here in Michigan. Also, have you checked the vit. levels like d and b? Nicole also, check her TSH (thyroid). Hypothyroid can also cause these things.
