  1. I have intolerances to a few foods now, so I was wondering about that.. I love cashews though, and a month or two ago I was eating them all the time with no problems at all. I mean, could I really have developed an intolerance to them since then? I don't know if they're made on shared lines (it didn't say on the package so I assumed they weren't), but...
  2. I've heard some people say that they're gluten free, and some say they're not.. I had a container of planter's cashews that I ate a few days ago and I haven't been feeling that great since then. I thought I was fine, but yesterday I woke up with a headache and was feeling really gassy all day. Then since last night, every once in a while I'll have some stomach...
  3. I got glutened after using some hand sanitizer from Bath & Body Works, so I've pretty much stopped using the hand sanitizer, lotion, perfume, etc. But what about the shower gel? I didn't see any gluten ingredients in it. Has anyone had any problems with it?
  4. Does anyone know of a good brand of body wash or shampoo/conditioner? I'm currently using head & shoulders shampoo, but my hair is very dry and damaged and I want to find something that might help with that. I can't seem to find any shampoo or body wash though that is gluten free and has no chance of cross contamination. I'm VERY sensitive to cross contamination...
  5. I've noticed that if I accidentally eat gluten, for the next few days I have this tightness in my throat. It feels like my throat is closing. It's not constant, but comes and goes throughout the next 1-3 days. My hands have also been itchy. Is this a normal symptom for celiac or gluten intolerance, or could it possibly be an allergy? I haven't been tested...
  6. I ate some baked lays last night and felt very sick all night and haven't been feeling great all day today. Other than that I didn't eat anything different from what I normally eat and there was no risk of cross contamination with anything.. These were the only thing I had that was different. They're labeled gluten free so I figured it would be okay, but...
  7. I got glutened pretty badly about 2 1/2 months ago and I'm still not completely back to normal. Just wondering how long it takes you guys to fully recover when you get glutened? I'm not sure if this is still being I got glutened, or another food intolerance.. I've been suspecting corn for a while, so I might try cutting it out soon. Any advice would be appreciated
  8. I've been gluten free since September and have found that I now can't eat red dye 40, stevia, or artificial sweeteners. I can't have lactose either, but I've had that for years. However in the past few months I've noticed that I seems like I can't eat eggs. Thankfully the reaction isn't as bad as when I eat any of the other things I listed, but there definitely...
  9. I occasionally eat the breyer's lactose free ice cream, and have noticed before that it makes me feel a bit bloated which is why I don't eat it very often. However, the last time I had it I felt VERY bloated for the rest of the night and felt 'off' for the next day or two. That was about two weeks ago. Then last night I ate some and the same thing happened...
  10. I have a gluten intolerance, and I went gluten free in September last year. At first everything was great, and then a month or two later I really started to realize how sensitive I was. Even the SMALLEST amount of gluten will make make me sick and it takes a week to fully bounce back. I live with my parents who both eat gluten so it's been very difficult...
  11. The last few times that I had red 40 I felt pretty sick, and was really anxious for about a week afterwards. I tried to tell myself that it was from gluten, but I couldn't even think of anything I had eaten that could have had gluten in it. I realized that I had had red dye though, so I avoided it for several months. Well, the other night I ate something...
  12. I got glutened pretty badly last Thursday and have been having a pretty hard time eating. When I get glutened really badly like this my anxiety gets REALLY bad and when my anxiety is really bad I have pretty much no appetite. The day after I got glutened I felt okay but wasn't eating much, the second day I was pretty much eating normally.. but after dinner...
  13. I've kind of always been somewhat anxious, though mostly social anxiety. Since going gluten free (also, I'm gluten intolerant. I haven't been tested for celiac yet because I went gluten free first..) I've noticed that my social anxiety has gotten better. But, I've sort of developed a general anxiety now. Not that I've never had this type of anxiety before...
  14. I've been gluten free since September and have been glutened several times since then.. which I would guess is pretty common at first. But I've been having lots of problems with CC and have gotten sick more than ever over the past month or two. Probably one of the worst times was around New Years. I wasn't really able to eat anything for 4 days afterwards...
  15. I'm 17 and I've been gluten free since September. I have not been tested for Celiac because I stopped eating gluten before I could, and at this point I'm terrified to get tested. Since going gluten free I've felt better.. but at the same time it seems like I feel worse. I've been glutened at least 4 or 5 times since New Years, those times were a bit worse...
