  1. Donna's right about the colonoscopy and endoscopy. Be sure you have someone drive you home. My first symptoms were numbness and tingling in my hands and feet. Eventually ataxia set in. Neurologists were going nuts! Finally a rhumatologist found the celiac. Odd, huh? It's funny I told them about the D but they didn't connect it. Thank God for the rhumatologist...

I ALSO HAVE EMAILED OR CALLED MANY COMPANIES SUCH AS CAMPBELLS AND ASKED ABOUT THEIR GLUTEN FREE PRODUCTS. MOST ARE HAPPY TO SEND A LIST OF PRODUCTS THAT ARE GLUTEN FREE. ONLY A FEW COMPANIES...
  8. I WAS DIAGNOSED WITH celiac disease IN 2002. I WAS SEEING A NEUROLOGIST ABOUT ATAXIA, TREMORS, RESTLESS LEG, WHEN HE SUSPECTED celiac disease, SENT ME TO A GASTROLOGIST AND celiac disease WAS CONFIRMED. GASTROLOGIST ALSO FOUND THROAT CANCER AT THE SAME TIME. MY GASTROLOGIST KNEW VERY LITTLE ABOUT CELIAC. TOLD ME WHAT FOODS TO "AVOID".. DURING MY RAD TREATMENT...
