  1. P.s. I'm 19 months in And also still have symptoms... I think I may have MCAS. Common in celiacs and germans, of which I'm both. Ive been having wine almost daily for the last few months, which is loaded with sulfites. Fatigue and joint issues have continued. Try a Claritin see if it helps, it blocks the receptors if that's part of your problem....
  2. Wow, sorry for what you are going through. I never stopped getting loose stool until I stopped eating out 100% no such thing as gluten free restaurant. I took a three day trip recently. I brought my own brisket I made and heated in microwave and bought local bananas and fruit. Hardboiled eggs in a bag from the store are great options, I eat them...
  3. I read BRM response to that incident in Canada. It was reported by a third party, and they then tested several packages from the same batch and they were all fine. They still volunteerily recalled the entire batch. That being said, they do use several sources and some use less then optimal sorting techniques. If you are sensitive to levels below...
  4. That's why I just said be careful. Like you said, most celiacs, but not all.
  5. I think my lingering symptoms have been from vinegar. Its in Ketchup, bbq sauce, worstashire sauce. Ive read that distilled vinegar is ok, but they say the same for whiskey was is untrue. Any super sensitive confirm if apple cider vinegar is ok? I'll start making my own sauces. Is there a safe food list anywhere for us? (Company Name...
  6. I read from another person that they couldn't have raw dairy, but hard cheese didn't upset them... Not sure since I wouldn't expect protein to change from milk to cheese. I'm starting to suspect I have a dairy issue as well... I also read that sometimes celiacs can return to dairy after they've healed a bit? But, I've also read that sometimes you can...
  7. Thanks for the advice and support. Lettuce wraps... great idea, hadn't thought of that. I do most of the cooking and kitchen cleaning, so I'm pretty careful.. but she cooks for the grand kids when they are are here.. I even clean up most of the kids dishes.. separate sponge, etc, etc. Good luck on the exams.
  8. Found my actual results... Iga was <1, Immuglobulin A 52, IGG was 5. Yes, I'm probably going the wrong way about my eating... I've been slowly eliminating things that I find cause issues... Probably better to go 'clean' and add them in one at a time. I'm at the point now, where I know < 20ppm still causes 2 of my symptoms to persist. This has...
  9. I had a test about 4 months ago and my Iga (?) was 5.5 I've been constantly, at least weekly, cross contaminated pretty much since the start. I completely stopped eating out about 6 months ago, but some foods labeled gluten free have become still too high for me. I also have forgotten to wash (continuously) my hands before touching some of my food which...
  10. Open Original Shared Link "Open Original Shared Link Open Original Shared Link On November 12, 2015, Bob’s Red Mill wrote the following to me in an email (bottom line–BRM is using both purity protocol oats and sorted oats in their gluten-free oat products): Dear Ms. Thompson, Thank you for your inquiry regarding Bob’s Red Mill Glute...
  11. Recipe please? I've had a hard time making good tasting bread, and keeping it from falling after baking. Also... be careful with Bob's Red Mill oat flour... they use multiple sources and some are not certified and use optical/mechanical sorting... so your gluten levels can vary wildly from batch to batch. (If you sensitive to levels under 20ppm)
  12. So, I'm 19 month into my gluten free life.. my sensitivity has increased to below 20ppm so it's like starting over with shopping/learning. Google lead me to a probiotic VSL3 (also recommended by my nutritionist)... one celiac reports half the recovery time and level of symptoms from an exposure to gluten. It's hard for me to say myself as I'm rapidly...
  13. "Many of Adams spice products are naturally gluten free. Adams does produce items that contain wheat in the spice manufacturing facility, as well as uses equipment that processes both allergens and non-allergens.However, Adams does follow a strict Cleaning & Sanitation Procedure, as well as Allergen Segregation Practices and Allergen Scheduling to ensure...
