  2. The cheese sauce does already have cashews. The soy milk powder helps thicken it and add some flavor. If there's not much else as an alternative I may double up on the gluten-free corn startch or even add some rice flour or may try almond flour.

  4. Hi all, I have a vegan and gluten-free cheese sauce recipe that's absolutely amazing. One of the ingredients is 1 cup of soy milk powder. Normally this wouldn't be a problem but recently I've noticed a correlation with me ingesting soy and me breaking out in acne, rosacea, and additional GI issues whenever I have soy similar to how gluten affects me...
  5. Hi there, My opinion is it's gluten! Sounds a lot like what happened to me! I developed chronic severe pain/nausea in December 2014 that went on for 1 year. Many tests, scans scopes, all turned up negative. Celiac blood test turned up negative. When I ate something, anything, even water, my entire abdomen would bloat and I'd have severe pain/nausea...
