Beer is the worst thing anyone with celiacs can drink. Thats what led me to the gluten free diet. One drink of beer and i'll be in the bathroom for 12 hours puking with the hot and cold sweats. I get so cold i have to sit in the shower and warm up every time i throw up.

I'm really confused on this one. Its been 4 weeks on fresh veggies and fruit with occasional meat. Strict paleo diet and this glutening still hasn't passed. Its almost gone, but i don't really think this was caused by just a poorly washed glass. Ocean spray doesn't label their mixed juices as gluten free because they can't guarantee what they are getting... -

My bowel cramping and constipation with diarrhea got worse for the first 6 weeks. Its your antibodies attacking your intestines to remove the gluten. It usually goes away in 6 to 8 weeks. But even a glass that wasn't washed well can bring the symptoms back. Im going on 4 weeks from a poorly washed glass. -
I already did. Thats how i found the place. Its amazing to actually go to a restraunt again.

I would like to give a big shout out to Hilltop Pub & Grill in Stevens Point WI. It was actually from my mom who can't see well. It seems like something like this happens every time i go to her house. I think i should stop accepting food or drink from my mom and stay away from dyes. Thanks again. -

The article i read but can't find now stated that they don't label the mixed juices as gluten free because their partners may use barley malt in their processes. In response to Kareng, do you think this reaction can come from red dye? My bowel movements were neon green in color which is obviously from dyes. I always seem to have this reaction from dyes... -

Open Original Shared Link Their mixed juices are not on the gluten free list. I'm having trouble finding the link that says they use barley malt as a sweetener in their mixed juices. Their cranberry sauce and cranberry juice are labeled as gluten free, but their mixed juices are not. This is probably why they say consult your doctor if you have an acute... -

I will never get a diagnosis of celiacs. But i have been diagnosed with irritable bowel syndrome with gluten allergy. Is there really a difference? -

After a little blood work i found out that 4 months gluten free has returned my blood sugar hemoglobin and thyroid to normal. I have even gained 10 lbs even though i lost a few more inches on my waistline. The dr diagnosed me with irritable bowel syndrome listing gluten as the trigger. My GI diagnosed men with irritable bowel syndrome. He said i have all of the signs of celiacs and should therefore stay gluten free. (no brainer). I am going in for bloodwork tomorrow to find out the extent of the diabetes that they discovered i have. i think it may have been because of a medication she is on. Not really sure. The clinic will only give her a partial copy of the test results which only tells the iga numbers. She demanded a full copy so she can find an expert to look at it, but they are refusing to give it to her. My guess is that they messed up the test by not properly diluting the solution... -
