  1. It seems like many celiacs I know have osteopenia. I do wonder if it is from not being diagnosed right away. I thank you for your reply. I have also started doing weight bering exercises since I read that helps with bones. I hope you have been feeling better after your diagnosis and being gluten free. I felt so much better right away after going gluten free...

  3. That is a great idea. I have tried the gummy vitamins also but alot have so much sugar in them also. I have been makinb smoothies with kale and other vitamin and fiber powder. I was surprised that my vitamin D was so low when I got my blood test done. I am going to take vitamin D check on children vitamins and hope this will help.

  6. Hi all, I just had a bone scan it showed osteopenia. Probably from years of not absorbing since I only found out few years ago I have celiac. I am 50. I am not good at taking lots of different multiple vitamins so can someone help guide me into what I should be taking. ( most needed supplements) I'm scared to take lots of calcium since I get kidney stones...
  7. I don't think there is enough gluten-free options when traveling. I am interested in this concept but only in the USA. I do think it is a great idea. I feel we are so behind in the proper gluten-free food. I am a traveler and usually have to bring my own food since most places arent aware of cross contamination.
  8. I know. this will be my first celiac diagnosed halloween. ever where I go I see kit kats which were my favorite. I plan to get some m&m for myself. I still hear from people that 1 won't hurt you, but they don't understand .
  9. I would like to know what to stick with to be safe when eating out. Part of my job is to take the man I care for to his favorite restaurant 3 days a week. we only go to 2 places. a family restaurant (which knows I have celiac ) or he wants five guys.   10. I recently had a endoscope and colonoscopy and Dr. said before biopsy lab was done he suspected Celiac so said I should immediately go gluten-free. So I did and my biopsy did show abnormal and he said it was celiac but my blood tests were negative. I said I was already gluten-free when i did blood test and Dr states no concern for negative blood and states...
