  1. Know, I assumed they were. No...no alcohol just some sprite. I know that my affects when being glutenned are far more worse than at the beginning. This really scared me though. Do you ever feel really dizzy...
  2. okay, I had a scrambled egg and chicken sausage for breakfast, beans and rice this evenning, some soy ice cream...then had the runs big time. Got dizzy, had to leave a party...then had an anxiety attack. Very close to going to the emergency room. Still feel uneasy....what's wrong with me....I feel like I'm loosing it....
  3. Hey all, I haven't been on in a while. Alot going on. I've been gluten free for about four months now. This weekend I got glutened for the first time I think. I've had such a bad reaction that I've had to leave work today. Really dizzy....excrusiating amounts for gas and loose bowels. Makes me wonder if after you've totally abstained from gluten...
  4. OMG...my major symptom....I can't stop laughing at this string of discussion. Everybody here is going thru exactly the same thing. Sometimes I can't believe the amount of air I have to pass at one time. Surely this goes away right? I know I'm not going to be this way forever....righ?
  5. My main sympton of Celiac was major bloating, alot of air going both ways if you know what I mean. What makes it so difficult for me as my stomache is cut, stapled and banded along with the Celiac. When I get bloated, my fear is my stomache exploading or a staple busting or something like that. I don't know if that could happen but I fear it and the intake...
  6. I have so many bad days. I've been gluten free or dedicated to being gluten free for six weeks now. I take different things to help the healing process. I found this cocktail on the website about immunity illnesses. Anyway, he thinks I'm being crazy about taking this stuff. That this stuff could be making me feel worse. I'm taking a probiotic, colostrum...
  7. My supervisor at work was doing the same exact thing. She went in for some tests and come to find out she had stomach ulcers. After her meds she was fine.
  8. Okay...so I'm dizzy and fainting...sometimes I feel so energetic and then I take a plunge. God will this ever end? This constant balance and check. Oh...have I drank enough water today? What have I not eaten that can make me feel better? It's just hard sometimes yall!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11
  9. Thanks everyone on your posts. I went to Houston yesterday and ate out at a Mexican Restaurant. I was real careful with what I ordered but my food must have been contaminated with some gluten. I'm paying for it today. No energy and alot of gas. Yuck....just when I thought I was healing well, a set back!
  10. Well...I've just had a bunch of mouth ulcers pop up. Concerned, I went under askjeeves.com and asked for the causes. Did you know "Celiac" came up in the list of causes. Does anybody have a similar story about this and more info? Thanks, Celia
  11. Michelle, What a blast I had today at whole foods. I just went crazy! We only have one Organic and Unique Market in our area. This was wonderful. I actually bought a gluten free cherry pie! Yummy!!!!!!!!! I may have to do a once a month trip to this place. Its only an hour and a half a way. I just loved all their stuff. I wish I could go by myself...
  12. Well...I've now been gluten free for four weeks. I felt the way you did last week. Here I've been trying so hard and still feel like crap. But I also deal with other "digestive" related problems in that I've had my stomache stapled and banded 4 years ago. I lost 172 pounds then after that I found out thru tests that I have Celiac. I can't eat like 5...
  13. Did you know I've been taking Coral Calcium for a month now and it takes care of the acid in my stomache. I also recently read an article about what to take to speed up the healing process in Celiacs. Fish oil, Probiotics (gluten fee of course) Colostrum and B12 shots since the intestine doesn't absorb it right now. I'm trying it. It's expensive but...
  14. I drink decaf. It was hard at first to change but I got used to it. I like Carob hot drinks too. But yes in answer to your question. I can't tolerate coffee anymore for some reason.
  15. This is my first time on. I found out I had Celiac a year ago but started taking my illness seriously these past two months. I've probably had it all my life. About four years ago, I had vertical banded gastroplasty and lost 172 pounds. After my drastic weight loss, problems came about. One being a serious digestive problem. Test resulted in Celiac...
