    Would anyone like to share their recipe for a Gluten-free Casein-free bread for the bread machine? THe machine came with some gluten-free recipes but they were not CF. Thank you

    I have done Enterolab. Just started on the recommended diet 9 days ago. Tests showed gluten and casien intolerance (soy, eggas and yeast were negative), both genes for celiac disease, and no damage done to intestines. I too was warry of the tests but a lot of people have nothing but good things to say about it

    Can steak contain gluten because the cows eat grains and wheat? My brother in laws mom has celiac disease and she cant tolerate steak. Is this common?

    How long after Gluten-free Casein-free diet did it take for you to start to feel better? I have no damage of my small intestines as we caught this early (about 2 yrs after starting to feel symptoms). Thank you!

    How did you find your additional intolerances? Did you take Dr Fine's tests through Enterolab? I know some on this forum have taken them as well as me. I tested positive for gluten and casien and nothing else (soy, eggs, and yeast). So I hope I dont have additional intolerances.

    Well I am glad that people are experiencing die off symptoms. It makes me feel a bit better. There is no significant damage done to my intestines so I hope healing does not take years at it does for some. On average at what point do you start to feel better? One month point, 2 months, 6 months? Just so I can get an idea of what I am getting myself into...

    When you start on the GFDF diet is there a peroid that you experience die off symptoms from the gluten and casien trying to exit the body? For the past two days I have had a headache, stomach discomfort, and nausea and I hope it is just from the gluten and casien exiting my body. ANyone else have this happen as well?

    If it says dairy free there is no casien or any milk product in the food. If it says lactose free then definately look for casienates or any other milk ingredient. Whenever I take my meds (when I eat food) I take a digestive enzyme that contain lactase.

    I know Safeway generic is gluten-free and both imodium advanced are gluten-free. Where is Mexico are you going? I just got bacfk from PLaya de Carmen, which is 20 miles south of Cancun.

    I was wondering if anyone has ordered food from Glutino? I just recieved my first shipment from them and noticed they used packing peanuts and I know some packing peanuts contain gluten. I surely hope Glutino uses the gluten free kind. Kind anyone verify this?

    I think I will continue using the meds I am now. Do you have any symptoms after going Gluten-free Casein-free? How did you find out you needed that diet?

    I felt nausea quite often in the begining stages of wellbutrin. It subsided dramatically when I switched to the brand name and not the crappy generic. I do beleive the brand name wellbutrin is gluten-free, not sure about generic. I do know the SR and XL can make you experience nausea in teh begining month or so.     We have a toaster oven which is rather easy to take out all the inside racks and all. I cleaned the racks in side the toaster in the sink and then used a small amount of oven cleaner and water to get out all the crumbs. I then went over it with a wet paper towel again.     Both wellbutrin and ativan contain lactose and I have a casein intolerance. Would taking these meds darmatically delay my progress of healing on my Gluten-free Casein-free diet?

    There is a margarine calle Earth Balance Natural Buttery Sticks that do not contain gluten, dairy or casien (which is the protien found in cows milk). It contains soy and this may be a problem for some. I am looking for a margarine that is conola oil based... I have been told there are some. Sheep and Goats milk have less casien and might be different...

    Well I am going to start my Gluten-free Casein-free diet on Monday and I have a question about breadmakers. What breadmakers are good for gluten free breads? Will just about any breadmaker do or are some better than others? Thanks all!
