  1. Kassandra, Sorry about more headaches with Quest. They are unbelievable! Hope your herx is short lived so you can enjoy your weekend. Carla, Glad to hear you're coming out of your herx. It is weird that Passover is so late this year, in relation to Easter.
  2. I'm with you on that one. I just was talking to my mom. She was wondering if I really had to get my teeth done. She's had fillings for years and hasn't had problems, at least that she's aware of. I told her that mercury was my problem and they had to go. I also mentioned that if we hadn't been on a vegan diet I probably still would have been ok. I...
  3. I haven't worn earrings for years. I used to have problems with one ear and it still fills with something occassionaly (the ear holes have closed but must not be fully closed). I'd like to think about going back to those someday too. I'm going to venture into the EM once I can line up some extra money.......don't know when that will be, but I'll probably...
  4. Donna, YAY on the earrings! Paula, Definately don't try to clean the mold yourself. How in the world are you supposed to stay warm if you can't use the heat or fire? It's going to be unseasonable cold here to going through the weekend.......more like December weather. I hope you can get ahold of a little bit of wood to help you through...
  5. Paula, That is awful! I hope you guys can get those cleaned out and that it won't come back again. I know, more money that we are all swimming in right?
  6. Donna, Hope this thing is on it's way out for good! What an awful thing to go through.
  7. That's what I'm thinking too. If two of us think the same we can't be wrong can we? Rachel, Sorry about the cream too. I will be curious as to what you and Amy come up with. Has she done testing for copper at all? I don't know how people get copper toxic but what you posted makes alot of sense.
  8. If I remember correctly Dr J's site is Open Original Shared Link
  9. WOOHOO!!! That's great! :D
  10. Nice to see you Katy.
  11. Carla, I guess you just aren't friendly enough anymore. Lisa,
  12. I guess I shouldn't be surprised. Sherry, Was aluminum in your metal profile? I'm sorry you're having a rough time with allergies and such. I hope things calm down soon for you.
  13. There are both profile/personal photos and avatars. You want to edit avatar and then load it. If you need specific directions holler. On the dentist, personally, I'd go to someone who knows how to deal with amalgam removal and then you could continue with your regular dentist after that if you choose. He may be meticulous but that won't help you if...
  14. Open Original Shared Link This talks about the gluten introduction.
  15. There is an old thread about something like this from maybe 1 1/2 or so ago. I don't remember the study that was mentioned in that one, but if I remember correctly they recommend 9-12 months. With the possibility of celiac though it certainly sounds like a good plan to hold off as long as you can. My baby broke out with eczema after he was 2 months old...
  16. That is frustrating. I'm sorry.
  17. I remember that. I was wondering how we'd do on the alternative grains. I vary between amaranth, quinoa, garbanzo or garfava for bread mostly. Rice is the prime one and sorghum doesn't do well with hubby so I don't use that unless I warn him not to have any. I noticed that amaranth and quinoa were on that gliadin list. I don't have bread that often and...
  18. Thanks Julie! That was a good article. We'll go back to strict gluten free. There is one cereal I bought (Whole Foods/Wild Oats brand) that doesn't list anything with gluten but doesn't say gluten free either so I'm assuming it would just be a cc issue. Now I'll need to have soy oil tested when we go up to see Dr E to see if they can have cereals...
  19. One step at a time, no matter how small and it will all come together. Jin, I have to ditto everyone else. Well I'm thinking to go back to strict gluten free. I was hoping that everyone would be able to handle the barley and oats but since M wasn't doing very well I have to assume the he's never going to be able to eat gluten. Double...
  20. I'm sorry Donna. I remember wondering last year how you managed to work through all that. That would be very hard for me to do.
  21. Donna, Glad to see you! I'm sorry things have been so rough with you. I hope you are on the upward swing again. That's tough about work.......hopefully things will lighten up soon and get back to normal.
  22. April, We didn't have any testing done. The last testing was the ASYRA in September. We had some dairy products come up then (different for pretty much everyone). I forget the gluten with the children but they had been through the food LED's so I think that helped. We're just trying to find ways to make eating a little more affordable. My oldest...
  23. Jin, I'm glad to hear you'll be able to get the blooddraw real soon. I'm sorry for the trauma and stress you've gone through, both with LN and your parents. Mitch's celiac genes just haven't been activated. I don't know about the rest of us. We came up with gluten on our intolerance testing but I don't know if it had progressed to the gene being...
  24. I hope it goes well for you Rachel. Patti, I don't have any answers. I know one of the phenolic compounds T had on her last ASYRA was Acetaldehyde. Indications: petrochemical sensitivity, perfumes, flavors, dyes, plastics, synthetic rubber, alcohol, spreading phenomenon of allergies to foods, sugar metabolism and candida disorders...
  25. Julie, Stress can throw things off quite a bit. I was late just after I had started detox stuff so that could be part of it too......on top of the stress. Sorry about your not thinking anything sounds good. That's tough. I'll be anxious to hear about your results too, I don't think your allergic to everything though. I'm not good at rotating...
