  1. Julie, Thanks for the update. Glad to hear the charcoal has been good for you. Kassandra, Is the upgrade back home or in a residential area of the facility?
  2. Sherry, Yay!!! You got here safe and sound! Donna, Somehow I don't think you're the only one to have done something like that. Nyxie, Hang in there!
  3. Hoping it goe better than you think it will.
  4. That's great Nyxie! Certainly helps to ease some of the stress right now.
  5. I'm so happy you'll be able to make the appointment Nyxie! :D Donna, I don't what to think about your clock. I think I'd say.....they don't make things like they used to. On the other hand, we've had some clocks for quite a few years that are still doing great! Hope you do ok with giving yourself the shot. I emailed Dr E about...
  6. Good news Kassandra.
  7. That's great Kassandra!
  8. That is good news Nyxie!
  9. They both have double celiac genes, so one from each of you. That would be considered DQ2 and DQ8, using the subtypes.
  10. Reading about the loss of Tika and the wonderful life she led brought tears to my eyes. She's not hurting anymore. She had an extraordinary life and human mother. Keep those wonderful memories and make more memories with Annie. Hugs coming your way........I know they aren't the same as the real thing, but with the distance they'll have to...
  11. Nyxie, Looking at your numbers with what Donna posted and what I have copied over from everyone else's tests.......I wouldn't necessarily take this as a negative. It looks probable to me but I'm not an LLMD. Make the call to Dr H.
  12. Nyxie, Dr H will test for many other things aside from lyme so I still think it'd be a good idea. Also, Igenex wasn't the test that was used so you can't rely on the negative. You'll have more peace if you go through a good llmd and have a more definative answer.
  13. I don't envy you the jet lag and getting used to a different time schedule while you're on this side of the "pond". Looking forward to you hitting stateside though.......safely that is.
  14. It is an emotional time for sure. One of my stepsons was admitted to a psych hospital/facility about 4 years or so ago. He was in there for a couple months then released once they got him stable on the right med combinations. He's been back a couple times for week long stays since.....to get meds rebalanced. She's seeing Dr. E next week. I'm...
  15. What happened to your brother? Charlie, Great to see an update for you. Sounds like the herbal protocol will go easier on you. Rachel, I can't believe all you've been eating! But I'm happy you've been doing so well.
  16. My family all have one or two celiac genes, but according to enterolab only hubby wasn't reacting to gluten. All the rest of us came up with it on ELISA and/or ASYRA testing. Whether it had progressed to celiac in any of us, I don't know. We will remain gluten free due to the reactions to begin with. Also, my brother had something that looked like DH...
  17. I took whole bottles up but she only uses a few from each bottle. For establishing what your body can handle as far as dosage you may want to bring more than a few though. It would probably help to record it. I don't think I'd be very coherant with the jet lag.
  18. Paula, Sorry about the results. Hopefully you'll get some answers soon. Donna, Glad you didn't pass out! Kassandra, Glad you're able to get some Ambien. Hopefully it will work for you. Off to finish dinner.
  19. Glad your appointment went well and also that your mom is on board with the treatment and diagnosis. I'm sure that helped. Discussions at your appt.
  20. That is definately a good thing. With the DQ2 I'd recommend staying gluten free. You'll know more as you detox and complete healing whether you'll be able to handle cc issues or not. Your appointment will be thorough. Ours wasn't as much with the children because we aren't dealing with a lot of things. I don't know about me as I haven't...
  21. Charlie! Great to hear from you. I'll look forward to you posting some more again.
  22. Wow!!!!! :D You can't ask for better than that. I'm so happy for you two! Can't wait to hear your results either.
  23. Rachel would probably know more about this. I'm thinking your pathways would still need to be open. If you excrete metals during the challenge I would think you'd be ok. Just need to have the minerals checked before you do chelation so you don't have complications with losing too many minerals.
  24. I don't have any ideas on the testing though. My husband and I don't like debt, although we've maxed out our credit cards. Wouldn't your hubby understand that things will only get worse as time goes by and something needs to be started under a doctor's care to be on the safe side?
