I didn't even know I had brain fog until I went gluten free. Within 3 days, I realized I had been living in a fog and the fog was gone. I still feel slightly foggy sometimes, now that I am aware of it, but I think it is when I have been glutened. -

I noticed by day 3 that I felt "giddy" and took myself off the a/d I was taking. I went from 10 mg of Lexapro to 2.5 mg in about 1 week and then stayed there for a while due to dizziness and withdrawal effect. I've been gluten-free for about 7 weeks and am completely off now and I have never felt better. -
My husband is getting to be more supportive. He even talked to the manager at Outback when we found a crouton in our supposedly gluten-free salad. You could try Enterolab. It is a stool test you do at home. It is more sensitive than the standard blood tests. You can find it at www.enterolab.com. It is in Plano, I believe, but it is just for testing. That is how my 8 year old daughter got her diagnosis.
