  1. Robbin, I'm sure we're related! If I ever catch up on this string (Took the day off, and I'm only on p. 208.) we'll have to compare family names. I am so worried about your eyes! Praying a specific plea for your recovery. I'm intrigued with this adrenal thing and it's connection with histamine. My sisters and my six children are sugar addicts...
  2. Ryan, the apples provided necessary "ruffage," what is now called bulk. Cissie
  3. Ah, Jeny, you're a Southern Girl with some German in your blood. We're probably kin. I know exactly what a "heinie" is! Cissie Amen! But I keep my house at 77-78 F, so when I come to visit you in Rachelville I'll wear my wool underwear! Cissie
  4. Because they won't let me get on a plane with my gun. Cissie
  5. Oh, by all means! Share the title with our Cecile! I don't KNOOOOW how to make multiple quotes in one post; so sit down, shut up, and be thankful that I don't know. Robert? ROBERT??? Don't make me have to come out there and hurt you! Cissie
  6. Bye, y'all. Gotta go do something sane for a change. Talk to you tomorrow. Cissie
  7. Your Honorable Goofiness, I'm not going to quote your last three posts because they would take up too much space, but girl, you crack me up every time you open your mouth!!!!! New man, huh? Sic 'im! Cissie That's Minister of Defense in charge of our miraculous, protective, Auxigro-detecting geese, thank you veddy much!
  8. Cecile, an antihistamine wouldn't help my msg-induced migraines, but I can only speak for myself; don't know about other folks. The only thing that helps me is a suppository called Cafergot. I can't take anything by mouth, because I would just throw it up. Cafergot is a powerful combination of caffein and ergot, and the doses must be carefully regulated...
  9. Another startling relevation from our esteemed President and Medical Sleuth-in-Pursuit-of-Truth!!! More clues to add to your ever-growing list. However, and please forgive me for this, do you know why people say, "An apple a day keeps the doctor away."? To quote my beloved grandmother, Mama Lou, "It keeps your bowels working, child." In my opinion...
  10. I love your name! I'll call you Cecile from now on. (I know how to pronounce it, okay?) Your granddaughter is beautiful!!!!! Cissie
  11. Good morning to all citizens of Rachelville! Returning to yesterday for a brief comment: Okay, okay, OKAY! Now I know! Brad and Angelina indeed! LMAOAM AM = at myself Cissie
  12. Almighty God, our Father, I add my prayer to the pleas of many others for the healing of your precious child, Megan. In the Name of Jesus, our Messiah and Rabbi, Lord, in Your Mercy, hear our prayer. Cissie
  13. Paused on my way out to read a pm. Gotta say this: Apples - very bad for me because I'm allergic to pectin. They're okay if I peel them very well. Grapes - can't eat them because I'm deathly allergic to ingested mold. Bananas - can't eat them if they're overripe (see histamine) or underripe. Have to catch them at the just-right stage. I'm really...
  14. Rachel, eating a huge bowl of ice cream every night was how I kept from losing weight for years. Then "d" struck, and I eliminated ice cream, thinking I'd become lactose intolerant. (Oh, how I mourned!) Thanks to your string, a couple of weeks ago I was struck by an omg relevation! It wasn't the lactose; it was the other stuff in the ice cream....
  15. Gaaawwwssshhh, guys (non-roseaca blushing). You've made my evening! Cissie
  16. OMG, YES!!!!! Mold is especially bad! If you react to environmental molds, NEVER eat bleu cheese!!!!! And NEVER let a doctor give you penicillin!!!!! You could go into anaphylactic (I think that's the correct word.) shock. Many years ago I almost died from a penicillin shot. Cissie
  17. Lord have mercy!!! I'm desperately trying to catch up! I didn't get to sleep until 7 o'clock this morning (ET), thanks to having been "oatmealed." Never again! Thank God Andrea is okay. You are so clever, Celia! In my humble opinion, you and Susan would make a fantastic comedy team. You're both so adorably goofy, and I love it! Jeny, welcome...
  18. Well, Rachel, my sisters have had a million tests, but no one ever even mentioned gluten or celiac to them. Is that not amazing? What am I saying! It's a given that most doctors don't have the sense God gave a billy goat! Neither of them has a computer, so I've printed out stacks of info on celiac and msg and sent to them. One of the reasons I'm...
  19. Omg, Rachel, I believe you might be on to something! I went to the histamine links you gave us, and I'm trying to apply the relevation to myself. My family is so allergy-prone it's ridiculous. I have two sisters whom I'll call A. and B. Sister A. is 2 1/2 years younger than I, and sister B. is 9 1/2 years younger. (Don't worry; I'll get to the histamine...
  20. Rachel, sorry if I missed it, but did you give a source for a histamine restricted diet? Cissie
  21. Rachel, I TOTALLY agree! I often got cotton mouth and couldn't figure out why. But when I got cotten mouth PLUS a migraine I could always trace back and see that it was caused by msg. At the time, I had no idea that msg was hidden under other names, so that's why I couldn't make the msg-cotton mouth connection when I didn't have the headache. I hope I...
  22. Thanks, Chelsea! Not confusing at all. It makes sense to me now. I looked through my picture file, and not one picture of myself. I'll have dh take one on Tuesday after I get my hair done. Cissie
  23. SUSAN, you are so clever! Dogs and geese, together at last! Who asked for pictures so we can see each other to help remember who posted what? I want to put my picture up, but I'm stumped by computer talk. What do I do first? Help! CELIA & RINNE, I'm glad you're feeling better today. Cissie
  24. ROFLMAO Oh, Celia! That's the funniest thing I've heard in years!!!!! Cissie
