    Thanks, I finally found out that Riverside turkeys are made by Honeysuckle so I called them and the turkeys were free of gluten and soy. They seem to be pretty safe for most allergies but I am always unsure when it justs lists "natural flavorings". Have a great Thanksgiving!

    Does anyone know if turkeys contain soy? I have a Riverside turkey from Krogers that states no MSG or gluten but does not list what is in the natural flavorings. Thanks for any help you can provide!

    I have only been gluten free for a short time and have an opportunity to go out to lunch tomorrow at Cracker Barrel. This would be my first time eating at a restaurant since going gluten-free. Not only do I have to watch the gluten but I have to eat soy, dairy and peanut free also. Can anyone please help me out and make suggestions on what I could order...

    Oh the baking isle! No wonder I have not been able to find anything as I always look in the margarine section! I looked at their website and there are a few stores in the area that are suppose to carry it. I can't wait to try cookies with this! Thank you so much for your help Jerseyangel!

    Hi, thanks for the information. That looks exactly like what we need for our baking! Where do you find this? In a regular grocery store? In with the butter and margarines or over by the Crisco? Avoiding all these foods sure is challenging, as I'm sure you know! We are feeling so much better though! Thank you for your help!

    I am trying to find a gluten free, soy free, peanut free, and dairy free margarine to use when baking. I have not been able to find anything. Does anyone know of any out there and where they can be found? I have found Fleishman's light tub margarine to use as a spread but it does not work well for baking. Thank you!

    I have been gluten free since mid-August, 2006. I also, have been burping more and I get indigestion alot. I am hoping this goes away soon! My intestines felt better a few days after going gluten free! Yeah!

    What exactly is xanthum gum? Would leaving it out cause my dough to not cook and remain gooey? I am new to Celiac and want desperately to be able to make breads, cookies and all the old favorites wheat free!

    Does the Kinnickinnick have soy in it at all? We have to avoid this. I haven't been able to find any Kinnickinnck products at stores near us. Nini - I had the green bag of pizza mix. Didn't even realize it came in a red bag without seasoning. I will lok for that next time as that sounds much better than what we had! Thanks for your help!

    I have had more problems baking gluten free. Today we made a pumpkin bread and substituted Bette Hagman's 3 flour mix for the wheat flour, cup for cup. We baked the bread longer than it said, almost 2 hours and it still came out gooey on the inside. The outside looked good but once we cut it it was like raw inside. Should I be using xanthum gum or...

    I made the Chebe Pizza Mix for dinner tonight. I followed the package directory but substituted an egg substitute instead of using eggs. My pizza dough was goey and tasted awful!     Hi, my daughter and I have recently been diagnosed with Celiac Disease and are still learning. I was wondering since this is an autoimmune disease, is our immune system suppressed and do I need to be more concerned with the cold and flu season approaching?
