I'm feeling the way I felt last summer (the bad summer where I got very thin and had to force myself to eat at 9PM if I hadn't eaten all day-kept inadvertently getting glutened and felt SO GOOD when I wasn't eating...became scared of food). Monday For Sure?

I spoke with the doctor's secretary twice last week to try to get the results. First time I called her she said I had to go for another test as they needed to see something else. I asked her if there was anything showing on the left side as I spent most of the weekend in bed (last weekend)She said yeah, a lateral blah blah - I missed it. Supreme Court

I might have mentioned somewhere in my blog that my husband and I have been fighting the IRS for about 8-10 years. The tax courts have ruled against us every step of the way, so we have to appeal to the Supreme Court. My husband has been doing a lot of the motion and brief writing himself to save money on attorney fees. April 19, 2007. March 23 Was Critical And Pivotal For Me

The week containing March 23rd will be a week I'm eternally grateful for. All week we were running back and forth for Full Monty performances and Much Ado rehearsals. Weight Loss Success Story

Dealing...

So I'm avoiding gluten. I felt better than ever for about five weeks before I decided to eat out. I ate at a restaurant that apparently grills thier potatoes the same place as their bread for sandwiches. Big mistake on my part, I was sick for about two weeks. Greetings From A Newbie/my Diagnosis Experience

This is my first post in the gluten-free forum. Please bear with me while I get familiar with the controls. (in case it posts twice or something.)   I was diagnosed with celiac disease ten days ago. Ignorance Abounds

Ack!   I have a friend whose family is going through a terrible time. She has cancer for the second time, her youngest daughter has been diagnosed as bi-polar, her three y.o. son is out of control and won't behave, her husband won't help discipline the children. How Rude!

It Wasn't What I Thought It Would Be!

You'd think with the world so advanced in technology, someone would take the time to make that stuff Telebrix taste better. Would it be that hard? Seriously, I don't know! To Eat, Or Not To Eat

Ack! I have got to stop eating like a pig!   My clothes are getting tight. I can't stand it. It doesn't help when everyone around me thinks I'm thin and smirk when I mention losing weight. How I Stay Fit

I don't drink coffee, eat fattening things like cheesecake/creme brulee, fast food, or much red meat. But I DO claim sugar as my vice. Surgery Update

So I am going for a CT SCAN on Sunday.....Sunday? of a long weekend... Well I never It apparently is better than the ultrasound I was supposed to be setup for. Gotta Have More Surgery... :(

So I went to the doctors/surgeon's office today...and I have to have surgery to repair an insitional hernia I got when I had the last surgery to remove part of my bowel. which came about in the first place when they discovered I had celiac disease... the irony of it all...       I read a research article today about how hookworms are being considered as a standard of care of colitis. Dunno about them used for obesity treatment though. The first thing I did once I figured out I wasn't reacting to gluten anymore was to head for the bakery isle. It had been 13 years..
