Back Again

Life is crumbling.   Funny how when you think things are peachy, things all of a sudden end up pear shaped.   I have two sons in Sydney, Australia, they have been there for coming on 10 years. Their father, my ex husband has been a major part in their lives over there. I thought things had been fine, they have both been working, one son even managed to set up a business on his own.   But life gets tough even for them. Good Eats

They took second helpings! The Japanese Rice Coconut Pudding turned out fine. It looked and tasted like oatmeal with cinnamon in it. I guess, since oatmeal isn't something we get to eat, it was a happy coincidence. Although I did read about some type of oat that has a low enough level of gluten.... Tom's Party is over, I'm glad and it seemed to go ok? Everyone liked it I was good too at the dinner, I didnt have time to eat anything lol BUt Some of the respones I received from my test results here and somewhere else, t hey said that I wasnt gluten-free, So they made me think I was not GS and I had some bagels and a hero, now I am sooo sick and in pain. Traveling Again

*Drum roll* Did she make a long weekend trip in Washington D.C. without getting glutened?NO. Positives: there was a WHOLE FOODS where they had an omelette lady we took advantage of for breakfast and we bought stuff for picnicking! I ate at Joe Theisman's restaurant (salad and bunless roast beef) and it was FANTASTIC. So, we ate there the next night, and...glutened! But, I have to admit the house balsamic vinegrette dressing I tried this time looked suspect, and I dared to eat chocolate mousse

Ok

I can't beleive how fist I havea reaction now!~!! Today

is Jace's Grad. It is hard to know where all the time went He just started K there and now he is leaving the school as a 9th grader After we are going to Bennihanna, I dont know what I will do there to eat, Its where he wants to go if I cant get anything, I will just order rice! Blood Tests

yesterday got my blood work from the dr He didnt tell me much, I will edit this when I get a copy from him and add the results. All he said was my chol. was ok 209 FBS was 108 and and I am barely allergic to egg whites and yolk. I wonder if he did the celiac tests too, cause he doesn't beleive me

It's A Long Hot Day Today

I am so tired today, being in that school, was too hot But I stuck to my double D diet (Celiac and diet) For b/fast I had 3 eggs and for Lunch, 2 wendy side salads and for supper 2 chicken breasts and veggies. Hi

I am finally starting to feel better, I am not so bloated now, and Almost not Nausea. More Information On Tb Test

Just found out from the manufacturer of the PPD Tuberculin skin test that there is no guarantee that is does not contain gluten. They had me give them a report with all my information to have on record. I had a reaction with reddness, itchy blisters and the infamous "bump". They retested me on the other arm and I had a worse reaction. Could be just a positive TB skin test, but I am wondering if there is gluten in this product. I do not have the DH that goes with celiac, but I do have celiac

Monday

Yesterday was good! It was a nice day, andJace was so happy. He even won some awards for Grad. I didnt have any cake/ cookies after and they had some almonds in candy thingy i had 2 and a glass of diluted ice tea. At Benihanna I had white rice, and steak, I asked for no soy sause and Ice cream so I was good. Almost - I had their salad and it had ginger dressing and I didnt think that would have soy sause and as I was eating it, the guy said, that has soy sause in it....... Like why couldnt

Walk A Thon Day

Today was the day I ran the Walk a Thon for my son's school. It wasn't hot so that was good, But I did cheat. I had a Hot dog with a bun and right away the burning on my arms and feet and pain in the left side, I dont know why I do this to my self.   Well, Endolab received my stuff, so now I wait. My So Called Life

The Friday started off typically enough-had vitamins and organic corn flakes with raisins for breakfast and off to work. Played staff-vs-5th grade softball game. Staff won, saving the principal from having to spend Mon. morning on the roof. Now 5th graders must uphold their end of the bet by losing a recess. ANd no one got hurt (last year the 20-something 3rd grade teacher got a major knee injury during the game and had to have knee surgery and be out of work 3 months!) Students left at 11:30

Criss Cross

Red Robin has some salads that- get this- DON'T come with croutons! They are sprinkled with crunchy colorful scrumptious fried tortilla strips. I had the really good chicken Santa Fe, I think it's called. With the dressing. And I had the strawberry "freckled" lemonade. Dee-lish. Then, less than a week later, I went again. June 05, 2007 Feeling Good!

Schedule has been SO full! Son performed in Much Ado about Nothing, Guys and Dolls, and The Great Plains Theatre Conference. He's now in rehearsals for Love's Labour's Lost. Lots of eating out and no exercise. I have lost 15 pounds now since March 23! I'm no longer on prednisone which certainly helps. I am doing really well with eating fruits and vegetables with a little almond butter and as of today, flaxseed.   I start vocal lessons next week and can't wait! I miss singing so much

Another Day

I got my stuff to UPs for Endolab I am so glad it is done with now the wait!       I read a research article today about how hookworms are being considered as a standard of care of colitis. Dunno about them used for obesity treatment though. The first thing I did once I figured out I wasn't reacting to gluten anymore was to head for the bakery isle. It had been 13 years..
