Corn Free/gluten Free Prenatal Vitamins?

I recently discovered corn is making me sick :/ I'm currently breastfeeding and trying for baby #2 and have noticed my prenatal vitamins contain corn starch (women's one a day). I've tried looking online for ones without any corn or corn derivatives and that are gluten-free. No luck other than these ones called Garden of Life Raw BUT they contain onion juice and I'm allergic to onions...ugh! Anyone know of corn free and gluten free prenatal vitamins?

I am in the same boat. From what I've seen, it doesn't look like there's any that's truly corn free and gluten free. I am having the same problem with B12. Can't find any.

We're trying to have a baby and so far I am only taking folic acid from Kirkman's Labs. I have no reaction to it so that's good.

Let me know if you find any!

There are a couple prenatals that don't have corn that I've found. The one I have right now is Vitanica Maternal Symmetry. I got it at my local health food store. It says "This product contains no: preservatives, binders, artificial colorings or flavorings, sugars, starch, lactose, salt, corn, wheat, milk, derivatives, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, fish, or shellfish." Picked it up for just shy of $40 with 180 capsules. However, it says to take a total of 6 pills a day which I didn't realize until later. I can't spend $40/mo on vitamins which sent me looking for another.

There is one other I have come across so far, I'll put the link below. It doesn't state on their website specifically that they're corn free, but they do state that they are hypoallergenic. I haven't emailed or called to see if any of the ingredients are corn derived or not though. Hope it helps.

Their website: Open Original Shared Link

A seller that states it is corn free: Open Original Shared Link

I know people who have used Open Original Shared Link vitamins - they're a kids chewable vitamin but they are gluten-free and corn-free, but they have onions in them because they're whole food based. :/ Open Original Shared Link also makes a gluten-free, whole food, multi-vitamin that could be used as a prenatal if you combine it with something else. It's tough to find corn-free vitamins though.

Ugh. I just talked to the manufacturer of Hakuna Matata... they originally said they were corn-free, but when I asked about specific ingredients I discovered that there are trace elements of corn in them as well as corn-starch in the Vitamin D3. :(

I saw the thing for testing for gluten when at public places.I absolutely love but I wonder if they would come up with a bracelet or necklace that can detect gluten in the air.I would LOVE that, i know i get debilitating migraine from smelling gluten wheat what have you, all I know is when I go into places like Chevron- gluten Subway, migraine, Costco that food smell of nasty gluten- migraine and same with Walmart subway.I absolutely HATE im that sensitive, my body reacts.Sadly medical hasn't taken core issue of celiac being an issue considering glutenfree ever since 1994 and in their eyes not because they didn't diagnose me. I am and wish I wasn't. If there was a detector of gluten in the air it would make a world of difference.

Oops! @Staticgypsy, I’ll get the book! Thank you!

Thank you so much for your help, @trents and @Staticgypsy! I so appreciate your thoughts. My diet is high in foods with oxalates and I don’t notice any issues there. If eliminating gluten from my diet had changed anything I’d be happy to just keep on the gluten-free diet, but with eating gluten several times with no rash, and having a rash when I was many years into gluten-free eating (and was much more careful at that point), I’m just baffled. Many, many thanks to you both.

Sorry, @JudyLou, as reread your post, I see that you have had gene testing done already.
