gluten-free Nortriptyline?

Hi all,

 

I've been trying to find a gluten-free version of Nortriptyline (10mg) and I've been striking out so far. The most current information I can find is five+ years old (here: Open Original Shared Link). I've tried one brand on that list so far, Danbury (aka Watson, aka Actavis), but it definitely had some small amount of gluten and resulted in classic GI symptoms.

 

Anyone have a brand of Nortriptyline they fully trust?

Have you looked at glutenfreedrugs.com ?

I have; unfortunately the only list they have that nortriptyline is on is that 5-year-old one I linked. I may try to get something compounded, or take a chance on another brand.

      Yes, @trents is right, ascorbic acid can be irritating. Do you take it with food? Do you take other supplements or vitamins? Do you eat processed meats? Is your diet high in carbohydrates?

      Be careful with C supplementation. It's ascorbic "acid". Too much can cause stomach and gut irritation.

      Thanks for the info, Its one I've not used before its got Noni Fruit, Astragalus Root in it as a prebiotic. As i never eat fruit it might be a cause.
