pain from xanthum gum

I finally realized that it's probably the xanthum gum in my gluten-free bread hat's causing my stomach pain. I think its been 3days since I've eaten any. How long will it take for my tummy to fully recover? Can that x. Gum cause other symptoms? I've been aching all over.

I can not eat Xantham Gum either!  I discovered this early after my celiac disease diagnosis.  My hubby has been gluten-free for 15 years.  He could consume it, but I would get "gluten like" symptoms.  I switched to guar gum in my baking. But honestly, I can not recall how long it took for it to resolve, but it was just a few days until it left my system unlike a glutening symptom which can take weeks for me to heal.  I just do not eat gluten-free bread (still buy and feed it to my family) and I bake with Pamela's for cookies and cakes.  

If you are early in the recovery process from celiac disease, try avoiding processed foods for a while.  You might just heal faster.  There is so much junk in processed foods that a damaged gut often can not handle all those weird ingredients (that is my personal opinion!).
