i have no clue whats going on.I have been gluten free for 6 years now . but  i have been having the same symptoms i get when i have gluten the  diarrhea, vomiting, stomach ache, gas, nasal congestion, .  my doctor told me to do a food diary for a week so i did. according to my food diary dairy was the issue so she told me to cut out dairy 30 days and then  i can add it back but if i do make sure i take a lactaid  well the lactaid did not work and lactose free milk did not work. i cant even eat the ruffle chedder chips without getting sick.  iv been to the gi doctor and the lactose test was negative and milk allergy is negative.  So if  thats the case why cant my body handle dairy. by cutting out the dairy it has helped alot.  in the morning i go back to the Gi doctor but i think its just going to be a waist of time and money. is there a milk protein intolerance test? i guess i can say im just frustrated and confused. at this point i want to know the why but i know there is a problem and im tired of the nothing is causing it so im not sure why your reacting

Yes, it doesn't seem fair. I even tried goat cheese but found to just stay away. It appears to be common depending how reactive your body is to it, and it seems enough that its a problem. I even tried lactose free, but I think it is the casein. I'd suggest looking at food "diet by blood type" that may help.

Try searching for casein sensitive enteropathy.

BTW, we've done other articles on this topic that I wanted to share here (not to condone smoking!):

Hi everyone  This has been a crazy year so far... How many people actually get entire sensory overload from gluten or something similar ?  My jaw is going nuts ..and that nerve is affecting my upper back and so on ...  Bones even hurt.  Brain fog. Etc  I had eggs seemed fine.   Then my aid cooked a chicken stir fry in the microwave because my food order shorted a couple key items .   I was so hungry but I noticed light breading and some ingredients with SOY !!! Why are we suffering with soy ? This triggered a sensitivity to bananas and gluten-free yogurt it seems like it's a cycle that it goes on.  The tiniest amount of something gets me I'm guessing the tiny bit of breading that I took one tiny nibble of ...yikes ..im cringing from it .. Feels like my stomach is going to explode yet still very hungry 😔  How long does this last?! Thank you so much

This is an older article, but may be helpful.

I have had orthodontic work done. The 3M invisalign material was no problem. BUT my retainers are another matter. They seemed okay for a few months. Now, however, they cause a burning sensation on my tongue, gums and insides of my lips. The burning sensation is now spreading to my throat. I notice it when I breathe. This is annoying and interferes with my enjoyment of eating. I am visiting with my provider tomorrow. We'll see where this goes from here.

Exactly which blood tests were done? There are a few different ones and some docs don't do them all. Also, your results and reference ranges for each?
