Global Market for Gluten Free Flours Set to Take Off by 2027

Currently, a gluten-free diet is the only treatment recommended for people with celiac disease, or other medical sensitivities to gluten, especially those who show symptoms of gluten intolerance, such as vomiting and chronic diarrhea.

Those folks may be in for a pleasant surprise, as the global market for various types of gluten-free flours looks set to takeoff over the next few years, driven in part by gluten-free flours made from amaranth, corn, maize, coconut and/or beans, among others.

Gluten-free flours offer a number of benefits, including very high protein, good texture, and, in many cases, higher nutritional value and fiber content, compared with other grains.

      Thanks for your input.

      If you have hemorrhoids 1x weekly I don't see how you have time to heal from one episode before you experience another one, unless each one is a very minor event. Have you consulted a physician about your hemorrhoid issue? It's not normal to be having an episode every week unless it is really one episode that is not completely healing between weekly flareups.

      No I haven't had one since 2021. I rarely have more than 1 per week.

      Sorry, I see that now as I reread your original post. You say you have hemorrhoids "only once a week" now. When I develop hemorrhoids, which is once every few years now, it generally takes 3-4 days for healing to take place. So, it doesn't seem like you could have much relief time between episodes if you have them weekly. Have you had a lower GI scoping done recently?

      Everyday I eat a medium to large apple in the morning and a large banana at night. I eat a cup of oatmeal in the evening. The ezekiel wheat bread I eat has a good amount of fiber. I haven't dealt with constipation for at least a year. Most of the time my feces are soft.
