Triple Paste Diaper Rash Cream

My kids are prone to diaper rashes and I have always used triple Paste cream on them because it works great. It contains oat kernel extract. Is this safe? They obviously won't be eating it and it's far from their mouths, but I don't know what the rules are with products on skin. Usually it's just rashy when I use it but occasionally it's more raw, so I want to make sure they can't get glutened from it. I doubt it, but thought I should ask.

I doubt there is any gluten in  " oat kernel extract".  But the gluten has  to get to your small intestines to cause a Celiac reaction.

I just wasn't sure if it can be absorbed through cuts and broken skin, and enter the bloodstream. Their bottoms aren't cut and don't have deep wounds, but they get raw and rashy. That's why I was concerned, or at least curious.

Doubt there is any issue but I also doubt they use gluten-free oats when making it lol. Umm perhaps just change product, Bag Balm in the green can is good for raw skin...heck I learned about it cause a old can of it was sitting in my parents medicine cabinet and I learned they had used it for my diaper rash as a baby.

BTW, we've done other articles on this topic that I wanted to share here (not to condone smoking!):

Hi everyone  This has been a crazy year so far... How many people actually get entire sensory overload from gluten or something similar ?  My jaw is going nuts ..and that nerve is affecting my upper back and so on ...  Bones even hurt.  Brain fog. Etc  I had eggs seemed fine.   Then my aid cooked a chicken stir fry in the microwave because my food order shorted a couple key items .   I was so hungry but I noticed light breading and some ingredients with SOY !!! Why are we suffering with soy ? This triggered a sensitivity to bananas and gluten-free yogurt it seems like it's a cycle that it goes on.  The tiniest amount of something gets me I'm guessing the tiny bit of breading that I took one tiny nibble of ...yikes ..im cringing from it .. Feels like my stomach is going to explode yet still very hungry 😔  How long does this last?! Thank you so much

This is an older article, but may be helpful.

I have had orthodontic work done. The 3M invisalign material was no problem. BUT my retainers are another matter. They seemed okay for a few months. Now, however, they cause a burning sensation on my tongue, gums and insides of my lips. The burning sensation is now spreading to my throat. I notice it when I breathe. This is annoying and interferes with my enjoyment of eating. I am visiting with my provider tomorrow. We'll see where this goes from here.

Exactly which blood tests were done? There are a few different ones and some docs don't do them all. Also, your results and reference ranges for each?
