Breastfeeeding Question...

Okay, so I should have read the ingredients on the ham we had for Christmas....soy sauce??? Soy Sauce? On a ham?? I've been sick for three days, I'm still nursing my 8 month old...I've noticed he's been unusually fussy. I don't know if this is because of teething or because he has an upset tummy too. Anybody else gotten sick while nursing? Blah ~I've just been feeling icky and want to know if I made my son sick too...any correlations between me being sick and him??? Input? Any research out there?

TIA

Erin

I'm not sure what that means, but I did read someone else's post in a different bored that said that her baby was fussy if she breast fed while she was glutened...

Hi Erin,

Sorry to hear about the ham :( If your baby is sensitive to gluten, then he may be feeling a touch of what you are. If he's not sensitive to gluten (and I expect you don't know yet if he is or not), he may just have a bug. We've all been sick here. Even the visiting in-laws from another state arrived sick

Hope it all passes quickly....

Merika :)

Thanks rmj when I first rang up it was we can't do it without , but I talked to a lovely lady and she sorted it all out for me, so it pays to be persistent , I would have had to decline if I hadn't been given the water option too , so yes I'm glad too 😌

I’m so glad they listened to your concerns!  I hope you get some answers from the MRI.

Had my MRI today I didn't have to have the manitol with my allergy's , I just had a litre of water , they were great with my concerns , so let's see if anything comes of if will keep posted once I have results 👍

Thank you ,it’s been a long road for me for having both now ,what upsets the most is that if they discovered that I also have cealiac earlier I would not have injested gluten if I was aware. Double whammy.
