Imaware test result -low positive?

Hi! I'm new. I did the Imaware celiac disease kit, prompted by the fact that my father had celiac disease. The only possible symptoms I have are low iron ( during my pregnancies) I actually don't know the status now and brain fogginess (I'm forgetful). So the results came back saying my likelihood of celiac is 93%. But, I only had one positive biomarker (Ttg iga) and it was only 7.11%, which seems just outside of the normal range. The other 3 biomarkers tested all were in the normal range and said negative. What do you think, should I be concerned?

I suggest seeing your doctor and asking for standard celiac disease testing.  If positive, you will need to be referred to a Gastroenterologist.

By the way, when I was diagnosed, anemia was my only symptom.  Get checked.  Do not go gluten free until all testing has been completed.  If positive, get your kids screened even if they are asymptomatic.

Wheat flour is fortified with vitamins in the U.S. as a part of USDA policy. Gluten free facsimile products are not fortified. There is no government mandate for such. When you remove wheat flour by going gluten free, you may be removing a significant source of vitamins.
