Hello, @Whyz,

You're in the "hurry up and wait"  part of diagnosis.  The anxiety can be hard to deal with.  Do you have a hobby?  I like knitting.  Watching suspense movies (Alfred Hitchcock movies are a favorite) helps focus that anxiety which gets resolved by the end of the movie, a temporary relief, but helpful.

I have a small hernia, which won't get any attention, too.  Not to worry.  Mine hasn't been an issue for years.  Don't worry.  You'll be fine.  The tribe here understands.  Sending {{{hugs}}}

I want to start baking gluten free bread, cakes pies ,etc a bit scared in case it goes pear shaped. Don’t know whether to get a bread machine.

any help recipes links I would appreciate.

If all testing is now completed you may want to let your doctor know that you are starting a gluten-free diet. If you symptoms go away on the diet it is further confirmation that you may have celiac disease, and/or non-celiac gluten sensitivity.  Approximately 10x more people have non-celiac gluten sensitivity than have celiac disease, but there isn’t yet a test for NCGS. If your symptoms go away on a gluten-free diet it would likely signal NCGS.

      I have not made my own juices but have made my own granola copycat recipe from Trader Joes Turmeric ginger granola. Have you made your own juices? blending vs cold pressed what is better?

      Sadly, I just now see the extremely tiny and hard to read wording on the label from some I got from nuts.com last year and it's below the certified gluten free sign which is more obvious. Another concern is that there's no expiration date to be found on any of the packages I have gotten.. It's confusing because they claim these are certified gluten free which Is why I got them due to having celiac. Looks like Tierra Farm has the lesser of the allergens, specifically wheat, so I will have to give them a try. Thanks

      After many years of running Celiac.com, one thing I've noticed is that I rarely hear about support groups that organize gluten-free picnics. It seem like this would be a great way to get celiacs together. I've attended various conferences, meetings, and events over the years, but strangely, no gluten-free picnics.
